Considering MAXes just got 2 new helmets and an armour set, AND have 2 more armour sets incoming, I don't think they are MAX helmets.

Just logged in and got several pleasant surprises, on my main NC guy i got 2000 certs + the loyalty bundle. When i logged out i discovered that my account had been given 3 additional character slots, is this a bug or a reward?

Oh, good thing i added 2 VS characters right away then. Last slot is probably going to a another TR character, that way i have two characters from each faction.
Haven't played in awhile and it appears they've added quite a chunk of content considering I have to update 7GBs. Are they still working on adding in the metagame and continents?
They added a new vehicle and lots of weapons. How long have you been off from PS2?

So a couple months now. I was hoping they'd actually get the important shit in there instead of more weapons, vehicles, and cosmetics. I've most likely been kicked out of my outfit too. Doubt they'll let me rejoin. At this rate, I don't think we'll be seeing Hossin until end of June/July.

Also there is a tree bigger than a biolab in hossin, can't wait to accidentally hit it with my scythe.

The idea is to replace stupid "orbital lazors" that devs so desperately want with something that would require effort and force cooperation between outfits. Say, one "baneblade" superwapon per outfit (and only for outfits), draining ground resources from people of 2 squads in outfit platoon that spawns it. So they only have aircraft and some tanks to form something with it, they now have to ask another outfit to help them out.
This game needs more logistics. Should be able to carry tanks and harassers with Galaxies and what not. I can just imagine an outfit just dropping a shitload of armor behind enemy lines that way.

I can see it now people just flying into the middle of a zerg picking up a prowler and dumping it a few miles away.
Or maybe make it so that the tank can be mounted upside down on the bottom of a galaxy to make an impromptu megalib :v:

Then, I'd like to see MBTs obtainable only from warpgates, Lightnings and Sunderers from large bases, and an overall massive decrease to infantry's ability to kill vehicles. HA and MAXs only available from bases or some heavy ordinance deployable. Then you would have logistics, because ferrying things from the warpgate and bases would be worthwhile. Overall, I think it would encourage teamwork and discourage spam. The question is, would it be any fun?
I think making it so max units can only be aquired if you have a biolab, MBT's can only be aquired if you have a tech plant, and amp stations do something else (boost to spawn times? i.e. with amp station its maybe 1-2 seconds less than now, without an amp station it takes twice as long as it does now to spawn at anywhere but warpgate. Maybe a capture time boost would be more appropriate?) would be good. I like the idea of MBT's being less easy to zerg being in (lightnings I could give a fuck if they zerg, thats their point) but I feel like making them only spawnable at warpgate is a terrible choice. Honestly if they just made it so you could only get MBT+Libs's from tech labs or warpgates that would seriously cut down on MBT presence. The problem is that there are SO many towers/outposts that can spawn MBT's, you might as well be able to get them anywhere.

Think about the logistics of it. Even for a small hop for one or two hexes away a well organized platoon will still lose at least 2-3 tanks. Now imagine trying to get all the way from one warpgate to the frontlines near another. Not to mention MBT's really aren't all that fun to drive long distances, and being a big vulnerable target in places like Esamir or Amerish. It would also grind all major armor reinforcements into pointlessness as - assuming all the tanks make it there in one piece- it would take them like 10 minutes to reach the fight. Same goes for Sunderers only spawning at large bases. There would be just too much of a gap, and too much of a rarity for them to be able to support the front lines in a timely manner. A reduction in infantry effectiveness against armor would end battles before they were really over. By that I mean once all their sunderers/lightenings/MBTs were taken out by another faction's armor, the infantry would just get rolled. Also, I disagree that resources should be removed. They are another limiter on a empire's ability to spawn vehicles, and allow for attrition if an empire is losing territory.
When it comes to resources I am surprised those who are subscribed to a membership don't get a higher amount then the 750 we currently get. To be honest I don't tend to run out as I live long enough after spawning my vehicle to have re gain back to full resources to having more would be pointless for me. ----------- And on the subject of putting MBTs on only big bases or warp gates I have two ideas to counter that. 1. Basically you would still be able to spawn them where you can now but the resource cost would be double what it would be to spawn them from a big place such as a bio-lab. 2. The closer to your warp gate you are the cheaper the resource cost. The closer to the front line the more expensive. If you go with option 2 you will have people spawning vehicles on the front line getting blown up then only having enough resources left to spawn further away simulating the bringing of reinforcements.
