I'm gonna be rich Anyways if anyone wanna commit heresy with me I'm on woodman with my VS named Cultistscum
VS Recoil??? also if the NC are hyper overpowered feel free to make NC characters on Miller because we win all the time due to how massively overpowered we are (protip we don't)
You must not be doing it right.
As it turns out you can fire the vortex a lot quicker than I thought. With the blinking dots I thought that meant it was charging to that level, and thus it had no grace period at charge level 3, however this is not the case and as soon as that level starts blinking you can fire for maximum damage, this revelation along with the buff to the vortex makes me think they're really strong, possibly the strongest of the three since I love the lancer mechanic too. I'm gonna buy them when I can. Also what VS LMG do you guys think is the best? I looked through the stats and none felt that amazing so I'm keeping the Orion atm.
You must not be doing it right.
clearly they've discovered some sort of artefact on miller that negates our crippling overpoweredness
clearly they've discovered some sort of artefact on miller that negates our crippling overpoweredness
The only reason miller TR keeps winning so much ground is simple manpower. When the 252nd shows up with their upgraded cannon fodder our zergs stop dead in their red tracks, wondering where our tactical air superiority went and why we are getting shot across the map by carbines and LMG's
Alright, let me just look up the price of the gun. [editline]14th May 2013[/editline] I am surprised to find it is 250 certs, so I shall invest in it.
I was surprised as well. When I hard about the gun from a friend I assumed it would be one of the most expensive and was pleasantly surprised. Although for the gun to work at top form it will set you back a total of 680 certs for the attachments. Tell me how you get on with it as it has performed greatly for me.
How to control NC and VS recoil: Pull down mouse How to control TR recoil: ???
Really depends on the gun though. There's random horizontal recoil on NC and VS weapons such as the GR-22 and Orion, while a few TR weapons mostly pull up and right, like the SABR-13. All factions have such overlapping perks it's not even worth comparing anything that's not the defaults. [editline]15th May 2013[/editline]
I kind of adore using the TRAC-5 with iron sights though, something about the feel of it I just love
It's because it has great closed sights and only pulls to the right, just like the Lynx. Well, they do have a bit of left recoil but it's mostly cancelled out by right recoil so they're really controllable at mid range.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/HqHH6ot.jpg[/t] TR and VS now have shemagh concepts too.
TR and VS now have shemagh concepts too.
because in the space future, the best head defense technology is wrapping a towel round your skull
Soldiers wear them today, why not in the future? Actually surprisingly I like them. I wish the NC was tucked in like the other two but they all look better than I was expecting.
I think the NC tucking looks cooler than the other two let the tucking argumentation begin!
Soldiers wear them today, why not in the future? Actually surprisingly I like them. I wish the NC was tucked in like the other two but they all look better than I was expecting.
Because soldiers today don't wear full face helmets.
Not all helmets ingame covers the entire head either. So we'll have to assume from a "roleplay" perspective that there are pros and cons with having a helmet that covers your entire head, and the concept art ones are probably more comfortable on Indar. [editline]15th May 2013[/editline] Oh god I just won a head-on with a scattermax all we did was run towards eachother it was brutal
Coming from someone who actually owns one, they work just as well in snow as they do in sand storms, and trust me, you don't want to have a fully closed helmet on for long periods of time in places like indar, or when sniping :v:

Is the flare the VS equivivalent of the T5 AMC? I wanna buy it but the acurracy stats seems weird on it.
the NS-11C with soft point ammo and laser sight is the most op gun ive ever used then again, im a TR and i fight a lot of NC so i guess im giving them a taste of their own medicine

SOE seem to base all their balance changes on performance charts, so unless they're blatantly using their position as devs to boost their favourite empire, there must be something in the data making it look like most of the TR guns don't suck ass.
Mattherson actually has a TR underpop issue. The balance is usually VS 35%/TR 30%/NC 35% during the day. It's not as bad as a month or so ago, when TR pop barely reached 27% after TE ops ended. Probably has to do with Buzz cutting off people from TE and them changing their play schedules to fit other outfits, or the Warpgate rotation helped bring some people back.
Guys, i suck at infantry but i love driving lightnings. How to be a good lighning? I'm somewhat new and i've only managed to make a couple hundred certs so far, i'm still using the default gun on the lightning and i plan on going straight for the HE cannon. Should i get NV on it, or thermal? The smoke thingy on it is good? What kind of tactics should i use? I'm TR on waterson btw
Should i get NV on it, or thermal? The smoke thingy on it is good? What kind of tactics should i use?
NV basically does what thermal does, but it's cheaper and a brighter color
Thermal is simply not worth the cost unless you really need the extra visibility and the white edges bug you off. I certed it for the Shredder since my gunner had trouble seeing targets through trees, but on anything else I just use NV for the extra range.
In my eyes, thermal looks nicer but NV works at a farther distance.
Thermal is invaluable for rocketpods. With NV you can't see through the massive explosions that come with rocket pods.
Thermal is invaluable for rocketpods. With NV you can't see through the massive explosions that come with rocket pods.
I use Night vision for my rocket pods on my Mosquito and have no trouble seeing the target threw smoke using them.
I think the NC tucking looks cooler than the other two let the tucking argumentation begin!
TR looks like a mummy, NC looks like a terrorist, and VS looks like a grandma.
Thermal is invaluable for rocketpods. With NV you can't see through the massive explosions that come with rocket pods.
I don't get this, people say that but I see just fine, as a matter of fact that's exactly what I'm using NV for?
