While Vanu tanks are really damn good compared to other tanks, all tanks are really terrible anyways.
The only class that can't oneshot you is the sniper. The only vehicle that has a very hard time killing you is the flash, which can still hurt a lot if it fires a full mag of grenades into the butt. Basically everything kills you, so you may as well just spawn in repeatedly as infantry.

With the shitzillion different ways infantry (and just about everything else) can kill vehicles now, tanks seem like they need a bit of a health buff to me.

And AV turrets shouldn't be able to shoot out of render distance, the projectile is invisible and that's not even fair.
The AV turret damage is still way off. It's the hardest hitting single-shot weapon, and it's even guided and has no hard limit on the distance.
no dont nerf av turrets I like harrasing tanks several hexes away while their drivers wonder where the fuck missiles are coming from every two minutes

Yeah i can understand that it's just if you're hovering and go full blast with afterburners you still don't go anywhere. my afterburners don't seem to take affect until i'm going over a certain speed, usually around 80km/h before they'll actually do anything
another gripe, this game is too fucking hard to play when even slightly buzzed. there's too much shit going on there's not enough alcoholic friendly games on the market anymore

The VS is not alone in the use of the 'natives' of Auraxis. The NC deploy spike limbed freaks of their own as well.
I wish I could have some ww1 quality airfights, none of this slowing to a hovering pass and flipping around.

They're not. There's a lot of things in the game files from Alpha that got scrapped because of various reasons. Why would you use two cannons when you can use [I]four[/I], for example?

The quad barrel and railgun will probably end up being the dedicated gunner turrets they've been talking about implementing eventually.

i can see a nerf coming in the very near future. did they not even play test this thing? the fact that you can have infinite ammo for it too from resupplying yourself as engineer is ridiculous too

They already nerfed it months ago with giving it ridiculous bullet drop and smaller aoe radius
It's good at what it's supposed to do and terrible at everything else because the S variants are underperforming to virtually any other primary weapon, even more so given you can't have a front attachment if you have the UGL

I doubt there'll be a nerf coming any time soon. GLs have been how they are now for ages. The only difference was back then they had a reloading bug and sometimes dealt no damage for some reason.

i literally got 50 kills in the span of about 2-3 minutes defending a base because all i did was lob grenades from my GL within 10 feet of anyone below and they'd die. if they made it so you couldn't constantly replenish your ammo from engineer ammo packs it would probably be balanced better

There's also another odd bug with the GL where even if you select 1 (to fire your actual rifle) it will still be stuck in GL mode and you have to cycle through your pistol and stuff a few times before you can actually select it properly

Like I said it's good at some things (camping stairs/corridors, finishing off people around corners) and terrible at everything else
Grenades have a pretty small damage radius and only direct hits are able to 1 hit kill (minus HA with shield, not sure about flak)

Actually it one hit kills basically any infantry within 5-10 feet, i've gotten more than enough triple kills by shooting it into a rushing group. They definitely weren't all standing in a 2 foot diameter circle. I will say i love killing someone then watching a medic sprint around the corner and start reviving them only for me to lob another one right after from 100m away
