Problem was that the TR went as far as we could and the NC couldn't take the final base since they owned Peris. So TR was stuck just right outside the final base waiting for the NC to do something which they never did. Then everything fell apart since BWC ops was over with.

Defending camp connery on matherson 154 certs in 30 minutes :D I love when all of TE decides to clump in the area right below the spawn room so I can cloak out [I]every time[/I] as an infil, drop 2 mines, and proceed to earn all 5 ribbons and dozens of kills over and over in the span of about 10-15 minutes.
Does the aegis shield work with c4? Cause I'm fed up with light assaults getting in my face and running circles without me being able to do anything because of the broken hitboxes when flying and the de-centered max weapons. Can't even run away because the blast radius is so fucking huge. Everytime I hear someone complain that the c4 has a small delay I feel like choking them

Then you live and use your glorious scattercannons to clean up the entire room.

I'm surprised C4 would stick to the shield. In any case, I can't imagine it would last long against things shooting at you.
I still haven't met a TR MAX using lockdown, SOE made that ability shit or what? on another note, the aegis shield is pretty cool if you use it wisely. I only have it level one and it can absorb two heavy assault rockets before going down. Considering the first level is 20% capacity and each level adds another +20% it increase survivability by a lot. They just need to increase it's size so people stop exploiting the tiny unprotected head hitbox bit.
So I'm reinstalling this, whats the lattice update thing? What does it do, and is it good?

The way it throws off your aim while deploying means you can't use it on the go and have to waste precious time you could be using shooting at people without becoming a sitting duck. It's only useful with fractures, and bursters against stupid pilots Kind of like the NC ability, it requires some teamwork to use properly unlike the VS one

One of the soldiers said it's just "zerg VS zerg" now, and there're some merit to these words. When bases are as defencible as they are now, you can't win against overwhelming force, so who has the largest zerg, wins in any given direction. At the same time, it adds much needed predictability, that's what our Platoon lead was saying. It allows to say exactly where enemy forces on any given direction are going to move and how far can they go. Were're the forks, were we can intercept the zerg, how we can cut it off. There're always more than one lane that allows the enemy to go deep into your territory, so leads have to split their forces wisely. I am personally on the fence about this one. I wanted to see lattice, but PTS being ghost town most of the time haven't really let me experience it. Now, I'm inclined to say that I welcome this addition, but wish they worked a bit more on the implementation. Two things are certain, it provides what this game was advertised as - large battles on epic scale; and it makes good commanders, who can effectively predict enemy movements, more valuable.
VS just won an alert on Indar Mattherson, by 1% territory advantage, ten seconds before TR would have capped a base and won it. I bet they're so mad :v:
I just destroyed an outfit! Yesterday there was a man prancing around [I]singing[/I] in the TR warpgate, another guy was chasing him around, raging and threatening him, telling him to step out of the shield and 'face him like a man'. It was a sorry sight, and I needed to end it. After failing to make the still-singing-prettily guy step through the shield, he tried to make him go through the teleporter that leads to a tower outside the shield. I got in a MAX and told Mr Rage to follow me through the teleporter. I went in and turned around, he appeared and I filled him with bullets. I had just joined a new outfit that night, Incendiary Wombats. Mr Rage respawns and starts screaming and ranting like hell about my outfit and how he was the leader of 'Nightrage' and how great they are and that we made a strong enemy... I just hopped on a Flash and went to rejoin my squad. When I joined teamspeak today I heard my outfit saying something about Nightrage and teamkill orders against my outfit. It turns out Mr Rage (aka Doogie187) ordered his outfit to kill us on sight. The rest of their leadership didn't like this and their outfit has broken apart! Whoops! The fateful killboard entry. They would be better off making these changes on Indar first. It needs it the most since lattice introduction. Since it's already a tradition that Indar is a proving ground (in nature, if I remember correctly, it itself was more or less a terrain test), why not concentrate on it. Then, if it proves worthwile, implement it on Esamir and Amerish. Better yet, they can work on everything at the same time, but I guess their team is kinda limited.
