I just wish FF was smarter. It's silly how I drive a tank and because of lag a person not even close to me suddenly die and I get the blame, or people dying to an exploding generator, that's their fault not mine. People running in on my grenades is really annoying too, but doesn't happen that often.
Maybe they should have it where, if there is an enemy presence or a fight happening, FF is reduced to a lower damage or warnings are removed.
I can understand that you guys are tired of faction rivalry and all that crap, but I am not, and /vg/ never fails to deliver

I just started playing some NC and I tried the infamous NC Scattermax. It feels so cheap to 1 shot everything. Yesterday I killed 2 VS maxes in solo combat.
It almost makes me feel I deserve to get C4d. Oh wait, I did get C4d, but then I used my Aegis shield and soaked up the damage and killed him.

I don't think its really necessary at all.
You only get weapon lock if you've been actually terrible for your own team.
It'll just be a useless ~feel good feature~ that will probably just piss more people off when they vote N all the time.
I've never gotten weapons lock, and this is from a magmower pilot. Or someone who'll happily shoot through the back of someones head if they get in front of me.

On a few separate occasions I C4d NC MAXes that reacted in a hilariously belated manner to the threat. Like they saw the C4 land near them and screamed "OH NO!!" then flash up their aegis shield only to be blown up a second later because the shield was pointed in the wrong direction.
Never had my weapons locked and I don't mind killing people who walk in front of me whilst I am firing.

and still they changed the enforcer from having single shots to having several smaller shots which deal less damage. I'm really confused why they did that instead of changing the halberd. I guess it is to minimize the amount of whining to just the NC instead of everyone using the halberd.

Also Using the Proton for the magrider I was able to far SO many fucking certs it isn't funny.
You think the Sauron is good with it's six shot clip, this thing has [B]50[/B] and you can kill a guy with a square on hit. or several guys if you get them in the pretty decent splash damage.
We found a crowded sunderer and I aimed at it's flank and had over 30 kills by the time the driver destroyed it.

I've actually found silencers to be really useful. Ever since I put one on my medic's AR I've been racking up kills because people just don't know how to deal with it. I've literally shot a couple dozen enemies who weren't even aware they were getting shot.
I don't remember how it went down exactly but if I recall correctly if you overload a generator and the base flips, you actually get points for killing your team mates:dance:

I would prefer fighting shitton hackmaxes inside biolabs all day than fighting ten ZOEmaxes in the open. HackMAXes can at least be reliably C4'd. ZOEmax never fucking stands in one place for more than one second. Just like Magriders.

they're too slow, by the time you've got a second rocket in the air the magrider is like a hex away.

Until they get a single level in IR smoke which instantly negates an entire Striker salvo.
I love my Striker, but it's pretty weaksauce in a lot of situations - can't attack MAXes except through a hard-to-use bug, can't attack turrets, missiles will sometimes veer straight into a wall.
If it could dumbfire - but with a good deal of inaccuracy (clusterfuck rockets) or heavy drop - it'd be a more well-rounded weapon.
Firing Striker rockets at Flashes never gets old, though. :dance:
The Lancer is better versus tanks in most situations - effectively hitscan, and the rendering on them is extremely buggy resulting in invisible lancer shots.

The Phoenix on the other hand is just fucking annoying. Not a real threat in most situations IMO, but the stupid clientside rockets are annoying. They appear to miss entirely, and then suddenly BLAM goes a third of your health.

It's easy to fight vehicles with decoys or ir smoke.
I fire one shot and reload, by the time I'm done reloading, I can lock on again and unload all 5 shots without worry.
Sometimes I use the striker's lock on to scare people away. I once made someone eject from their reaver because I kept my lock on them for a few minutes.

In Planetside 1 I would scare away Mosquitos with an empty Striker.
It didn't matter if I was firing at them or just looking at them, they would get loud lock-on klaxons. :v:

As LA even when I'm out of C4, I still fly over enemy vehicles to get them to run away.

Back before I didn't have C4 certed I hovered above tanks holding a restoration kit, they backed away and I could go about doing my things.
