Youre just jealous of my lazor guns
The roadmap just got updated and a lot of things have been given new time frames. Hossin has now been scheduled for September.
Played no lattice over the double XP weekend, only played Esimir. And today I logged on and played on Indar to find Lattice rather boring and dull. You get stuck at the same bases far too long and there is no bigger strategy other than what vehicle to zerg them with next.

Everytime I play on indar there's always some lanes that are almost empty, it's hardly anyone's fault if platoons are too stubborn to retreat from a stalemate/lost cause

It's not really the middle part of indar that causes the issues, there is almost always a good lane, but if you are playing close to any warpgate it becomes impossible to get away from the zerg on zerg battles without going up against the other faction.
Just played in a squad with some friends, and I discovered just how fun harassing a base as a cloaker can be. We had a spawn beacon set up on an isolated vanu base, they where holding it for some reason I dont know. A lot of people in turrets, and the funnest thing is to sneak up, hack the turret, eject them, then just kill them with your sniper point blank. After a bit everyone stopped using turrets.
I also got quite a few really fun kills, such as sneaking up behind an engineer that was repping a sunderer in the middle of a room filled with NC, killing him, and going unnoticed. Did it a few more times before I got killed by another cloaker.

I love running around on my TR cloaker with the Hailstorm. The big magazine, advanced laser sight and Suppressor makes any engagement only last two seconds if I catch anyone by surprise (which is what should happen if you're a cloaker).
Won the alert, infiltrated a platoon on a ridge line and wouldn't my luck have it, find a cluster of them, drop bouncing betties, no explosion, nothing, i had the no damage bug. :(
Mother fucker. Even with their stupid updated roadmap, LA and the lightening YET AGAIN get shafted and put into unscheduled.
It's really depressing that the stuff they thought they could do in 6 months is going to take over a year to accomplish.

They're moving at a pretty standard development pace imo.

I don't know. If they intended their 6 year plan to take over a year, then they just blatantly lied to everyone.
I'm ignorant about this part, but how long does it really take to develop/redesign their GUI for loadouts/terminals/implementing something like server transfer tokens?
For GUI, it really doesn't seem like it would take more than a small team of like 4 people tops to make.
I would hold off on updating the interfaces for a while in favor of getting vehicle and class updates out on time. Although I guess we can expect further time slippage like with the MAX update which took like a month and a half to get done.

And also the LA was... fine last time I checked, I play it a lot and you're a pretty decent all round kinda guy who also has a jetpack...
Also enemies seem to think you stop existing when you exit their field of view and don;t think to look up... ever.

I've played LA for almost 300 hours and just feel really bored with it right now. I don't just want abilities that add to its offensive capability. I want stuff that allows me to help out my platoon as well. Like my own recon device, or special grenades, or something.
The rest of my time I have played medic and while it is fun, it's also frustrating watching my squadmates bumble around like idiots on the front and miss really good opportunities if they had been more aggressive or smart about their targets.
300 hours and just feel really bored with it right now.
no shit. I can barely play entire games past 50 hours without getting bored.

oh ho ho
wow
is this your first MMO or something?
I'm not trying to be rude or snarky, but seriously?
Is there a way to get the mouse to move right and left (yaw) while flying an aircraft instead of roll?
I fucking hate the current setup and i don't fly stuff mostly because of that.

i mean seriously
the only MMO with as much content pumped out as fast as here is Warframe, SOE is INCREDIBLY fast with this. Major content updates monthly is fucking boss by normal development standards
This probably late, but the Roadmap was updated until November. Hossin is scheduled for September
I miss the bugs from the beta.
To Mattherson players, is anyone familiar with a Vanu player named 'ShepardCommander'? I've run into him time and time again, and every time I kill him he spazzes out. Other times, he'll log into another character and follow me around to TK me or generally be in the way of what I'm doing.
Is this normal of him?
For reference of what I'm talking about, I mean this. I get messages like this from him every time.

Holy fuck shepardcommander, he's pretty much the punching bag of our best pilot due to him calling everyone a hacker. Pretty much wherever shepardcommander is, harvester is soon to follow to kill him to get more tears.

In other news, fuck sticky grenades.

And the zerg that runs mindlessly into a pizza delivery zone.

As to the first point; I guess that's where you and I differ. If a game is developed with lots of variety in mind, then I usually put about 100 hours into it. For an MMOFPS that boasts about it's scale and sandbox ability I would have expected more variety when it comes to weapons at the very least. Most of those 300 hours I spent playing one of two different ways with a LA. Either I use the AMC carbine, or I use the Barrage and neither really change the way the class is played in any significant manner. Every other weapon the class has access to, at least for TR are literally carbon copies of one another.
As far as your MMO statement. It isn't my first MMO, and I understand that even for larger MMO developers like Blizzard, updates are massive, content rich and rare.
Maybe I'm being naive in thinking that since PS2 is more shooting oriented that their team should be producing content more quickly. I'm probably just being impatient with them releasing stuff at a what seems like glacial pace.
At the very least I would love it if they spared one or two members of their team to go back over the existing weapons to make them unique or more exciting. If anything, the Shotguns demonstrate a complete lack of innovation or flare at all.
Sorry but I like SOEs content rate and transparency.
I think they're doing a good job, regardless of all the problems with the game.

Can you toggle lumifiber?
I'm imagining and entire force laying in complete still silence along an enemy's predicted path along the lattice at night, then suddenly ambush as everyone turns on their lumifiber for effect and bumrushes
I like the looks of those new tank cannons.

Ooh is that stuff all on the test server? Might have to go browse through the files see what else is new.
EDIT: Also, more shotguns? Oh dear.

Apparently they might just be replacement models for older shotguns.
That black camo looks awesome too. And the new armor
