Planetside 2 V6 - VS capped Indar? It's more likely than you think

dear christ ps1 maxes rotate like they have a tank turret wedged up their ass.
Certs for new weapons is just too much. I can't put in 20 hours into a game only to unlock ONE fucking weapon that I want for a single vehicle, or single soldier unless it's an NS weapon, it's just ridiculous. At my current score per minute it would take me 20.2 hours to hit 1000
Maybe if you're outnumbered for a 50% XP gain + premium member + 7 day booster then 1000 Certs might not be too bad, but that's still ONE item for ONE Vehicle or class
Someone did the math and it would cost about $700 to unlock all the Camo's and weapons if you used station cash. That's just for ONE faction, though.
It just feels like that old Planetside 1 Reserves program where you couldn't advance past BR6

Stop looking at the 1000 cert options for infantry, only the pump action shotties and smgs are worth it. If you want to unlock weapons, look in the 250-500 cert category and also look at the 100 cert lmg and sniper regardless of which faction you are.
It's just because the game is free to play, SOE couldn't keep the game up only on cosmetics. Not at the rate they're releasing shitty ones. Getting yourself boosted to 100% will make pretty much every price category acceptable though.
Don't forget to log into your account everyday, you get 12 certs a day for logging in. I'm at 2000+ certs from doing that somewhat reliably since launch. Across 3 characters, no less.
So, whenever a new faction thing comes out that I really want to use (AND during overpowered release phase) I can just get it.
Why can't I run over enemies as good as I run over teammates? Maybe I should start swerving to avoid enemies to kill them and just plow right over friendlies to NOT kill them.
Does the jetpack lift feel utterly FUCKED for anyone else? It feels like I'm moving in slow motion every time I launch now. Compared to previously I mean.
They also have not fixed the annoying as fuck bug where if you're moving into a slight incline while jetting you go absofuckinglutely nowhere.

Yeah but the good Anti Tank secondary, and primary for a tank is 1000 Each. The one weapon for Infantry I really want, is for Medic, and that's 1000 Certs. Rocket pods for the Reaver are 1000. That's 80 hours of maintaining my score per minute, if I'm lucky, to get those, and this doesn't count the Certs here and there for those items as well, Ammo, 2x Sight, 1.5x Zoom, Night Vision for Rockets, so on and so forth. Here would be a great opportunity to fork out some cash for them. Oh they're also $7 each. Screw that noise
come to ceres as TR
please
fucking hell no, everything but TR on Ceres they are always at 50%+ server population during day. It's not fun for anyone.
Just got a hs/nv scope for my light assault. It's the best thing i've ever done.

It's missing all the drunk squad leaders blurting out incoherent directions.
Man, I can never say enough about I hate VS cocksuckers and how they are the worst fucking faction in the game. Full of douchebag 'elitists' even though they look like shit and have the skills to match.
VS are, and will always be, the best faction.
Smurfs and Elmos never had the chance even in PS1.
I've played each faction to atleast BR21, and I found Vanu's weapons super easy to kill with compared to even the TR's, and especially the NC's. I can't hit shit with the NC weapons
NC for life though

I would rather have my entire town drafted into TR or NC service than even look at a single VS soldier for 1/5th of a second.

If I could transfer all the unlocked non NS weapons I have from my VS character to an NC character, I probably would.

buy SC when it goes on sale
unlock equipment when it goes on sale in-game
$1.75 unlocks
in reality, it's all about how you value your own time. If you've got a job, you can work one extra shift and be able to afford just about everything you need in-game, for less than the price of your standard $60 shooter.

NC hard? What the fuck game is he playing?
NC hard? What the fuck game is he playing?
TR weapons definitely are more effective than NC's in general
it's not as bad as VS though, the scale of difficulty would be like:
EASY<---VS--------TR---NC--->HARD

For infantry weapons, it might be true - I usually win most one-on-one fights as TR despite not being a particularly good shot. Definitely not for vehicle weapons, where the TR get pooped on.
VS and NC both get a rapid fire anti-tank weapon (Sauron and Enforcer) with extremely fast projectiles and damn near infinite range, which have large magazines and the ability to one-hit-kill infantry while also wrecking the shit out of vehicles.
TR get a piddly Gatling gun with a maximum effective range of about 30 meters with a tiny magazine and the inability to kill anything smaller than a Flash courtesy of its huge spread. If they want to kill infantry, they have to get the Marauder, which is in most respects a worse Fury.

I meant to say infantry weapons :v:
There aren't any server transfers are there? I have a br 22 or 23 TR on Matherson and I want out :C
Has anyone ever seen some one using an underbarrel shotgun before? I swear, I've seen people actually using flashlights, but I've not once seen an underbarrel shotgun. Not in beta and not in the however many months since launch.

Vanu are face stomping on matherson right now... And not two hours ago were crying about how they were having to fight 2:1 numbers against the NC.... Now they outnumber 3:1 and no one's saying shit. We still held them at Dahaka for the Draw. I raked in 361 Certs playing Medic today

That gatling gun is the stupidest thing ever. If you could spin up the barrel before hand it wouldn't be so bad.

Depends what you're doing I think. I've gone from Vanguard to Prowler this week and I'm already in love with it. I could have just been a shitty Vanguard player though, that's definitely possible.

As much as I don't like to bring up numbers, vanu is ahead in a good amount of the categories which can help you get an idea or a hint at what needs to be looked at. However, you can't take the numbers seriously cuz if we did, vanu knife is OP as fuck. I think infantry weapons are fine, we have comparable weapons across the board for pretty much all areas (although I'm still gonna piss vanu off by telling them they have about as much recoil as tv remote).
The state of MAX suits is pretty murky imo, especially with all the bitching and moaning going about (never happens in ps2, ever, possibly), I think they may have gone a little too far with the NC max nerfs, we can still kill any infantry (besides other maxes) within 15 meters pretty easy, but we have to reload a shit ton more and it leaves a lot of moments where you are just vulnerable as shit and in a crowded biolab, it takes another second more to pull shields out (lag, which can be critical for surviving). Not saying ZOE is op, but when I'm going max to max, I have to use freedom whistles on them to even make them care about dancing in the open. I think all three factions are in a pretty good place in most areas. Even esf's seem fine for the most part, if you look at their performance, they are keeping up with each other just fine.
MBT's however are pretty messed up, not that the mag/prowler are OP, Vanguard is a great tank, but it really isn't that great for anti infantry as the other two can do a pretty good amount of damage. I mean in that area, vanguard is just performing poorly.

Didn't they fix it so that it fires instantly but takes a second or two to accelerate up to full RPM?
Didn't they fix it so that it fires instantly but takes a second or two to accelerate up to full RPM?
Nope, and there's still this bug where if you hold down the trigger while firing from the hip and then aim down sights it'll start firing at full speed immediately, really helps in close quarters

I used them in the VR range once.
You have to be breathing sweet nothings in their ears to be able to kill anyone with it. It's a very short ranged, piss weak low ammo shotgun. Incredibly useless.
