Planetside 2 V6 - VS capped Indar? It's more likely than you think

The first day or two after everyone got the 6 months free, PS1 was packed. Then everybody realised that PS1 really wasn't as great as they remembered and went back to PS2.
I still think they should add in A large stompy robot to PS2 at some point but make the effort to balance it.
Like several people have to man in order for it to be effective, Pilot, Main Gunner, Sponson gunners, rear gunner...
In my Head I'm thinking of a Cockpit resembling that of the Megazord.
Honestly, ignoring balancing and gameplay, I don't think mechs suit Planetside visually. BFRs looked weird and kind of out of place and I can't see mechs fitting PS2 any easier.

Tis true tis ture....
How abou a superheavy 5 man tank.
While I want a heavy mega-tank on principle, I would be disappointed to think everything for my medium tank had become worthless.
Now a computer controlled battle fortress manned by people in a TF2 payload form I do want to see. Damage slows it down, getting the generator inside stops it until fixed. Eh? Eh?

Kinda like the Titans in BF 2142? It would be awesome
So I noticed how these two guys looked like they were talking, plotting something, so I started recording and this happened:

Ignore the platoon voicechat.
Aaaand Waterson goes down for the count. GG SOE, can always count on this developer for stable, reliable, fun, balanced games.
When did they merge servers again, after the first merge? It's been a while since I played.

IKR, since GU10 the game crashed constantly
Oh yeah, I had my first CTD yesterday. I was reviving a guy and right before he got up I was back on my desktop. No errors, the game had just closed.
Been playing TR the last few days, and decided to buy the striker. I don't know why everybody complains about the rockets being able to pass through terrain, every time my target goes behind cover the rocket either exits the barrel at a 90 degree angle and hits the guy next to me or does a 180 and hits me in the face.

As some of you may or may not know, Planetside recently went pseudo-F2p for six months. This is good. However. The game is dieing at a rapid rate. We need to secure it's rate and prevent it from flatlining.
Please, Announce to all your groups, that is all of them, that Planetside [The Original] is free to play for six months. This will hopefully drive up the population a bit.
Please post below if you have read this. Whilst this isn't one of my favorite games, I do not belive it should die. It must survive, and I want to ensure that it never dies.
The game is usually said to be more fun in 3000 vs 3000 vs 3000 battles. Let's make that possible.

You do know that Planetside is ultimately going free to play forever. Everyone who has plays Planetside 2 and the original got 6 months of game time for free in the mean time.
Waterson TR lost Indar after holding it for nearly two weeks due to their spectacular ability to surpass even my lowest expectation of their incompetence.
Are there any strong, competent TR outfits anywhere else?
Here is the TR wall of irreconcilable wall of rage and shame for Waterson:
Ego: Dead as a fucking doornail.
ODAM: Worthless in every conceivable way.
V1C1: Full of chatty imbeciles that individually wouldn't stand a chance in a shooter that always let you see through walls, and had full auto aim.
382nd: Like V1C1, but less competent, run by children who don't understand tactics or support. Have perfected ghost capping 'down to a science'- direct quote from the outfit founder himself
IR: Never on
And a whole host of up and coming TEENY TINY outfits of like 4 people that are either never on, never form squads, or die within the week of their formation.
Also, this is something that I've noticed nowadays on Waterson: There seems to be a tremendous influx of new players pouring into both NC and VS (The number of low BRs I've been encountering is truly inexplicable), yet I almost always see the exact same people on TR with no real growth at all.
Another bizarre behavior I've been seeing recently is that people literally do not see/think of any sort of opportunity that doesn't have it's balls in their face.
For example: I see a brief moment where if I sprint up a hill, I will be able to avoid fire from the bulk of the enemies on the hill and get in a position to return fire. I get there and NO ONE ELSE is there, despite there being like a half dozen people around me.
The same thing with simple pattern recognition. I see someone's head poke up from the top of a piece of coral for a split second before 'disappearing'. I know there is an infiltrator there. Other people are facing that same direction, and do not. Or an even more obvious example: I briefly see the flash of a backpack, or a leg entering a doorway and out of sight. There are enemies in that building. Yet people around me simply do not see it.
Do I have some sort of short term photographic memory? Probably not. Then why are people so fucking oblivious and are time and time again surprised when the signs of player activity are so blatantly telegraphed in this game?
The same goes for what I previously described where people just either don't see opportunities to advance/refuse to use them/are just oblivious. I'm not the best at tracking moving targets anymore (I don't know if it's my mouse, or my hand that's fucked up, or if the player movement in this game is just extremely fast), but I've found that I get into REALLY fortuitous locations on a regular basis. And no one else either notices them or supports me when I try changing position.
Does it really just boil down to pure obliviousness? Or does it reflect player stupidity? Or is it something else?

It's a F2P game. Half of the players are not worth looking into because they are simply bad. Stop relying on them and your life will begin to look much brighter.

I just wanna find a good active outfit to play with. Do shit with them instead of hoping for competence.

I feel your pain man. My one purest love in this game, greater even than sticking my dick in an asshole, is to play with my harasser. Too bad most people ignore the fact you don't have a gunner, and 75% of the people who get in your gun, don't know how to be a decent gunner. It's like they're fucking falling asleep. As a gunner you should always be scanning around the vehicle (3rd person helps to give you a wider fov) but these guys seem to be fucking asleep, or staring off into space. Without a microphone to direct their imbecilic, beady eyes to where they should be looking it makes harassing with the harasser near impossible. SO MUCH RAGE. So, if you play NC on Connery and you like harassing bitches, add spetsnaz to your friends list and hit me up. I love that shit more than crack, and I'm working on getting a mic soon, for the sake of my sanity.
Waterson TR is awful, I really wish I could switch to a different server without losing everything.

I'm waiting for the server transfer tokens with baited breath. The trouble is finding other servers that have decent outfits.

When I get in someone's gun, I switch Arma mode on. I've been in realism units and many times they love to stick me in the .50 of an up-armored Humvee. So I know how to at least be a useful gunner, and I usually look in a direction the driver of the tank or what not isn't already looking unless that's where the action is. I just feel guilty if I get into someone's gunner seat and then don't perform at least as well as the driver
Speaking of shit factions though. NC on Matherson just... blow my mind sometimes. About now, they put up some good fights, but in about 4 hours from now, it'll be rape, and it's like they want to be raped. We'll have a watchtower completely surrounded by vehicles and infantry, outnumbering the enemy 2:1, and still fail the assault and be pushed out after 20 minutes. It's fucking sad. You'll find a decent squad able to do the work of 3 regular squads, but it isn't enough in the large fights

Sometimes I can't tell whether Woodman NC is amazing or shit.
We're holding a 3-point outpost, TR and VS attacking en masse, we're outnumbered like 4:1.
We're getting our shit pushed in until like one minute left for one of the other factions to cap the point.
Suddenly everyone fucking has instant godmode and aimbots, we push back everyone, take back the points, stabilize the area.
Then back to getting killed 24/7.
Don't bring your TR to Connery. The TR on Connery are hilariously terrible.
I mean I enjoy fighting them and all that but they show incredible stupidity sometimes. Everything from deploying Sunderers right outside the enemy spawn huts to completely not noticing the VS army that just arrived at their tech plant. Holy shit the TR outnumbered us so much in that fight but we just walked right in through the back door (Even though there is a spawn there now) and had their gens down and cap point flipped over before they even knew what the fuck. They were too busy giving the NC at the crown mean looks. Even when sabotaging their generators only like 5 of them came to investigate.
Despite what this guys says, Connery TR are pretty decent (excluding all those dumb fucks from Helios) and we will happily welcome you onto our server when the transfer tokens get released.
I feel like I made all my characters on the wrong servers. I wanted to move my TR to Mattherson early on, and both my NC and VS characters to Waterson.

I enjoy fighting TR for the most part. EXE, TRG, MERC, some others I fail to mention, they all put up a pretty good fight. VS was fun but after ZOE was introduced, the only fun outfit to go up against is PCYS, Future crew is good, but all they do now is camp biolabs and towers with ZOE, it's just annoying as hell now. They really need to fix the 4th faction though, NC's population is skyhigh after we got the north WG.
I maintain that everyone on Connery is terrible.
I have no idea where my main TR guy is on right now, I haven't played since the first time they merged servers.
Stood behind a rock with a grenade launcher and an ammo box.
I feel sorry for the NC capping the base.
10000 certs is the max number you can hold at once, right?
There is no limit to the number of certification points you can earn, although you will no longer accumulate any if you have 10,000 unspent certification points.
Is this information no longer accurate, is that why someone disagreed?
I maintain that everyone on Connery is terrible.
I cannot disagree with this.
Is this game playable on middle-end hardware yet
EDIT: By playable I mean 60 fps on absolute lowest settings
Is this game playable on middle-end hardware yet
I play it on a 3Ghz i5, 8 GB of RAM, and a Radeon HD 6770. I get around 30 fps. My settings are pretty low though.
