Damn lizards.
I love how only white people give any resistance in the novels. [editline]23rd March 2013[/editline] Literally all the non white countries get conquered.
Oh damn, you enabled all the countries to work with MEIOU yourself? Upload that stuff up on the internet, man.
I wish, I literally can't code anything so making a converter work with MEIOU is a little out of my league. I did it manually by comparing maps of the situation in 1356 in my CKII save and altering the history and country files to match it up so it's basically just an alternate start. If anyone is interested in a new scenario rate this post something and I can see about uploading it later once I've gone a bit into it and made sure I haven't broken the game or anything. Maybe I can expand it and clean up all the lazy shortcuts I took, lol.
Damn lizards.
I can't find my copy of the second book :c
I'm starting up a Prussia Campaign. I'm trying to figure out what my first few wars/moves should be, I have seen several different opinions out there. Do I war on Denmark first and free Holstein and get them into my SOI to help create NGF? Hannover is sphered with UK, but I read that once the King dies, I should be able to sphere it? Getting the Northern German Cores then I can create NGF. Or should I attack France and get Alsace-Lorraine? Or start working on the Southern Cores to create greater germany? Just wanted to know my first few steps I should take out of the gate to get on the right foot.
Ally with everyone, find an ally at war, join with them, drag in other allies, ANNEX ANNEX ANNEX! [editline]23rd March 2013[/editline] At least, that worked for me.
What year is it in your game? Mongols rarely last past 1400 for me without heavily losing to Moscow or the like.
1548. They might last a little longer as well, because Sibir and Chagatai declared independence and are still expanding through the steppe and some rebel provinces agreed to negotiations or defected back to the Golden Horde. However, Savoy, Polotsk, Moscow, and Mecklenburg are expanding their territories in West Russia because Golden Horde cannot stop them with their massive 2000 man army, Great Britain already took a couple of provinces around St. Petersburg area, and I'm probably going to reach some population and resource centers in SW Russia and Mesopotamia before Milan-Qara and Durrani do. There's also a batshit insane rebel sentiment and there isn't a single province without at least 20% revolt risk.

Was about to conquer the Ottomans on EU 3 when the Mamlukes pulled 400.000 men out of their ass. Fuck Death&Taxes. Somehow even Delhi manages to get a bigger army than me. Wait, what? The shit is this? Pressing that decision gave me a 2000 force-limit. 200k stacks everywhere! I'm serious.

I bet that if they made D&T for HOI you'd be able to pull out 200 million soldiers out of your ass by 1937.

Can I get some suggestions as to what to do in CK2? I've formed every empire from scratch and played most interesting characters on the bookmarks so now I'm at a loss of what to do.
Can I get some suggestions as to what to do in CK2? I've formed every empire from scratch and played most interesting characters on the bookmarks so now I'm at a loss of what to do.
Try your best to lose the game.
how do you fail on d&t it's like the easiest mod ever
It is really easy, sure. I haven't played D&T since 5.0, so I didn't even know there was a decision like that.
Can I get some suggestions as to what to do in CK2? I've formed every empire from scratch and played most interesting characters on the bookmarks so now I'm at a loss of what to do.
Play a horribly stat nerfed custom vassal of a Christian Ethiopian lord.
I onced played as a drunken, cynical, wrothful, cuntbag that the papacy hated... And I was the pope's vassal. That was a fun game.
Can I get some suggestions as to what to do in CK2? I've formed every empire from scratch and played most interesting characters on the bookmarks so now I'm at a loss of what to do.
Play a custom Christian herectic as ruler of Seljuk. See how long you last.
The Chinese and Japanese fought back too, but only the West was at the absolute top of the game tech wise, therefore the biggest threats in the end.
And they have light skin complexions :v:
Play a custom Christian herectic as ruler of Seljuk. See how long you last.
I lasted 8 years. My original ruler had a son before getting his brains bashed in by the Byzantines. Then the son was pushed off a high tower by his tutor, Bran Stark style. [editline]24th March 2013[/editline] Just see if you can beat my high score.
Com... err Komet sighted! [editline]25th March 2013[/editline] The war is almost over, the last country in the Axis is... Yunnan? This won't last long. [editline]25th March 2013[/editline] If say, one of the allies countries conquers Germany and then you create a puppet, they have the government from before they were conquered, so the Nazi party complete with Hitler.
In theory when Germany surrenders it should be creating DDR and FRG. But thanks to the new wargoal system introduced in FTM and TFH (?), it was pretty much guaranteed to be broken. Or it was removed altogether according to this. Also Yunnan's infrastructure is ridiculously low. There's a low chance of anybody attacking them if the AI doesn't paradrop on them.
I formed Rome and Castrated my Nephew. I like Crusader Kings II alot. My first Byzantine -> Rome so I made it a mess of political rivalry and civil war.. like it historically was I guess.
tl;dr they nerfed republics

- Added a Trade Post limit for patricians, based on palace upgrades and number of adult males in court - Family dues are now given only to adult males of your family in your court, and they all receive the same share - Patricians can no longer increase their Demesne limit with higher tier titles. However, the Doge gets +1 - Patricians who imprison or banish someone now get a tyranny opinion penalty from everyone in the whole Republic - Patricians no longer confiscate gold from dynasty members that they banish - Doges can no longer use the Seize Trade Post plot - Patricians can now only use the Seize Trade Post plot on Patricians owning more Trade Posts than themselves - The Seize Trade Post plot now always costs a small amount of money to implement
Well Republic's are balanced now in my opinion.
- The republican CB to seize a whole coastal county is now range dependent - The republican CB to seize a coastal city now requires the Patrician to have a trade post there already
No more Venice and Genoa dividing up Ireland.
- When determining what tier a character is for the purposes of marriage, the highest ranked non-republican ruler among their close relatives is now used (so the nephew of a King would count as King tier) - AI now takes into account prestige effects when selecting spouses for themselves and their relatives - AI: Less willing to launch embargo wars in general, especially against rulers they like - AI: Less willing to accept requests to embargo on opinion alone
These were the biggest pains when playing as Republic's, spammed Embargo wars.
- AI now takes into account prestige effects when selecting spouses for themselves and their relatives
So basically this means it's going to get difficult to get spouses for your own relatives now?
So basically this means it's going to get difficult to get spouses for your own relatives now?
Or maybe your landed sons will stop marrying lowborns.
Is August Storm a good mod for HOI3? Only mod I've played is the WW1 mod.
It's Jan 1947 in my French game, the Pacific theatre has turned into a stalemate for the most part. The only action is daily convoy raids by the Japanese with little work done by my destroyer squadrons. Aside from some minor carrier battles off the coast of the Philippines, it's been very calm for the most part. I haven't been eyeing the Russo-Japanese front much. It seems the Soviets are continuing to lose ground to Mongolian-Japanese forces. If only I could get China back into the war, the Japanese don't have spare divisions to put up a defense down there. I defeated the last Imperial army in the Dutch Indies, so they're pretty much screwed if any offense is made on the home islands or China.
August Storm seems pretty sweet. Not a fan of the map colours tho. Nice Flavour events. Lots of Unique Province images. [editline]26th March 2013[/editline] What going on here? I turn around and suddenly the US Controls Saint John's, Newfoundland and has a core on it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pepperrell_Air_Force_Base Also the US Annexed Vichy France
