Can't wait to pick up a copy of the Conquest of Paradise expansion. I do so want to play as the Sioux tribe, build an empire, fight back the brits and acquire westernization, and then conquer the whole of N. America. Between EUIVCOP and DominionsIV my year is GONE.

More whining about CK2 rebel mechanics. Playing an ironman King of Navarra campaign, its about the year 920ish. I get some event popping up and all of a sudden 30K(!) rebels pop up in my provinces, I hold about 7 provinces in general northeast Spain, with a max army of 2.8K Lol

Huh, well that's cool, the cold war era is probably one of the most interesting and eventful timeperiods in history in the sense that would be perfect for a HoI/EU game.

Which coincidentally gave them more time to work on it. Calling Project Armstrong as a game either focusing specifically on the space race, or as some kind of an AH space colonization HoI game. Calling project Nero, which had the "Is this a troll attempt" or whatever hint, to be a fantasy GS game of some kind, based on the 'troll' thing which you could take as a double meaning.

I think the 'Is this a troll attempt" is also poking fun at the fact that the project is called Nero, but they're not doing another Rome game.

Random peasant rebellions take away from the political intrigue that defines the game.

Or maybe it's all a cruel joke, and they're lying when they said Rome II wouldn't be one of the new games.

But then again, I can say as much on EvW as I can on Armstrong/Nero, since they both have the same flow of information atm. Wait so troops from an ally, if in the same stack of yours will fight battles if attacked? Because I was playing Navarra in Old Gods, and West Francia (which took both WF and Aquitaine), pressed a de jure ducal claim on Lleida, even though we've been great friends for years (what a dick!), and I wrecked the shit out of Asturias and WF's armies, giving me about 75% war score. I'm sieging Urgell to get the war over quicker, and all of a sudden another small (2.5k men) WF army comes around the Pyrenees into Lleida, then [B]An 8k stack of Brittany troops and 1k of Italy joins them[/B]. Note, neither Brittany nor Italy has joined the war, but this big doomstack of 11k men attacks me, and needless to say, slaughtered my army and I lost the war rather quickly. What the fuck gives?????????????????

Disappointing, basically they will release it IF it turns out alright and you can donate for BL-logic but it will basically be a mod. AKA the game is not cancelled but won't get released.
