"Pope Innocent III calls for the Catholic Crusade against Bengal!"
Donating during the EvW beta will guarantee you a copy of the game IF it is released retail http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?749660-Regarding-the-future-of-East-vs-West-The-Beta-and-Release-Date&p=16794480&viewfull=1#post16794480
"Pope Innocent III calls for the Catholic Crusade against Bengal!"
"Count of Nantes swears fealty to the king of Delhi!"
Rajas of India features twice the landmass of the base game. Play as an Indian ruler. Start a new and quite different type of game by playing as an Indian raja in 867 (if you have The Old Gods expansion) or at any point between 1066 to 1337 AD. Three new Unique Religions. Choose between the Buddhist, Jain and Hindu beliefs for different benefits. Caste System. Experience Indian Events & Decisions. Elephants and Jungles. Hundreds of new Provinces including Central Asia and large parts of Siberia too. New Interface Skin. Indian characters get a unique set of facial profiles and clothes. Steam MP Matchmaking and Steam Workshop: These features are brought over from Europa Universalis IV into Crusader Kings II, together with Borderless Windowed mode in the patch together with the release of the expansion.
Wow, it looks like they haven't half-assed it.

That section of the world was the location of a planned ‘mini’ expansion but it has been included in the free patch that will accompany Rajas of India.
Everything about this expansion sounds great so far.
Borderless Windowed mode
Well, they've officially sold it for me.
"Count of Nantes swears fealty to the king of Delhi!"
"The Kongo has formed a personal union with Austria." "Ethiopia has inherited Serbia"
What do you guys do in "downtime" in EU4? I fairly recently took Liguria from Genoa and got Corsica independence in the process (it wouldn't let me just annex them) and I have a colony slowly building at Cape Verde (? whatever the island chain south of Castile's Canaries is). I don't really know what else to do. Do you guys just aggressively expand?
Chill out, watch the politics, colonize, see if there is anyway I can fool around with rebels and what not. I don't like being at war all the time and I don't like out-of-character-esque expansion. Peacetime will probably be a bit more interesting once Wealth of Nations comes out
What do you mean "fool around with rebels"?
Support rebels I think.
So I'm in the late 1700s in EU4 and the Aztecs still exist and they're allied with Britain.
Does anyone know a good country for a HOI3 "hands off" game? New Zealand?
Ireland.
Haiti, Cuba, Dominican Republic.
Support rebels I think.
Yes, this, sorry! You can occasionally find very opportune times for doing so when you have spare diplomats [editline]28th January 2014[/editline]
So I'm in the late 1700s in EU4 and the Aztecs still exist and they're allied with Britain.
I once had a game, pre-CoP, in which literally every single Native American state had all the same land that they started off with but were all converted to Christianity. Europe was very live-and-let-live that game I suppose.
Does anyone know a good country for a HOI3 "hands off" game? New Zealand?
Poland, Belgium, France, Netherlands. You wont have to do much after Germany invades.
According to Northernlion who just got back from ParadoxCon, they're adding in a system that'll prevent you from initiating diplomacy with other rulers/characters that are RIDICULOUSLY far away, like you won't be able to talk to someone in Sri Lanka as the Duke of Munster or something. [editline]28th January 2014[/editline] Unless your Duchy stretches close enough to India or something I guess.... [editline]28th January 2014[/editline] Video in question
So I'm in the late 1700s in EU4 and the Aztecs still exist and they're allied with Britain.
The Incas westernized in my game.
What the Fuck? In Eu4 can someone tell me how in the name of fucking god does Sweden have more MP than fucking Russia? As Russia I tried to conquer Sweden, I pursued all their armies to destruction after defeating them just to find my death stack getting raped by a 3rd hidden army several times the size? Not only can they raise an army and fund an army after the immediate raising and destruction of 2 others but it's morale is high enough to defeat mine. My tech level is higher than theirs, my commander is better than theirs I have more allies than they do, yet they can shit out more armies at light speed than fucking Russia.
why doesnt mesoamerican nations and incas have unique national ideas? what about wallachia, georgia? it bothers me so much speaking of the upcoming eu4 expansion, i hope that they change trade severely because right now it would be really silly of them to expand on trade (aka more money) when one of the biggest problems in eu4 is that you earn too much money compared to what you can spend it on.

The deathstacks are probably just the AI fucking with you though. :v:
The deathstacks are probably just the AI fucking with you though. :v:
The AI isn't just fucking with me, it's hate fucking me. The game killed off my heir, I became the lesser partner with the Livonian union as Russia, Lithuania then declared war on the Livonian order and stole my Caucasus conquests, then when I was getting my independence through war with the Livonian order, Sweden declared war on me and took Karelia. Throughout all of this there was nothing I could do, the game AI was deliberately trying to fucking murder me. Hell deathstacks of rebels had in on the fun too and decimated what little MP I had left.

The AI can get pretty brutal, especially when you factor in all the cheaty benefits they get.
Were you playing on Iron man mode? The AI can get pretty brutal, especially when you factor in all the cheaty benefits they get.
No, at the current moment the Ottoman wants to steal more of my land. This is Normal difficulty
Fight them the Russian way. *Most armies in Siberia still.
Fight them the Russian way. *Most armies in Siberia still.
I can't after 50 years of permanent war, this is all I have left. [img_thumb]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/795184998503065828/9B096BCC22EB8F5F9900F2DBCB7F4915164FDC75/[/img_thumb]

Just remember to always keep your military tech as high as you can and carry a bunch of luck charms when playing early game Muscovy. I managed to win this war by falling back, waiting for manpower recovery and upgrading of my tech level. Armies of mercs also help out alot during these times.
