I believe the Hellenic pagans were originally added simply as a history part. The "Ancient Religions" mod is fleshing out Hellens, however [editline]30th March 2014[/editline]
You need to be a christian faith. I think you can be any of the heresies as well.
Aw bollocks There goes my idea of Jew Rome
Yeah, I think its Greek and Orthodox only.
Conversion should still work as long as the mod doesn't mess around with de jure stuff.
It's SWMH, it does mess with de jure stuff since its main purpose is to add a lot of provinces.
After playing Victoria II for 44 hours and finishing a number of playthroughs, I actually have yet to see Gernany and Poland. The best thing I have seen so far is only North German Federation. Do expansions increase the probability of them getting formed?

I think A House Divided introduces certain nationalist movements, such as rebels and a few specific events. In any case you're best off buying AHD as it just improves the game massively.

Yeah, I'm using the Historical Immersion Project. At this point, I think Europe is doomed. Looks like the Horde subjugated England, since they have a truce from a war called "Mongol Invasion of England". Not sure how that worked out. Either way, the Horde has 60k men. Europe is fucked.
[thumb]https://www.dropbox.com/s/nzjbym7p3gbhd43/Screenshot%202014-03-30%2017.32.43.png[/thumb] I don't think this is right.
So shortly after I resumed the game, the Horde attacked me (vassal of France) for conquest. After they'd fully sieged the war goal, the Pope was like "No, fuck that. Crusade." So Christendom went to war with the Golden Horde of England. The Khagan bent before our might, and I'd contributed like 55% to the effort with the help of the Teutonic Knights. We held the majority of Aquitaine, which was the crusade's goal, and then I got the message that the crusade was successful. Problem is, nothing's different. The Horde still owns the same shit in Aquitaine and England. I expected to snag some provinces due to my contribution but I guess not. I wish it would tell you the peace terms when one is made in a crusade.
Yeah, I think its Greek and Orthodox only.
The only requirements for the Roman Empire in CK2 are. 1. Be Byzantine Emperor 2. Be any Christian religion 3. Have the "Legacy of Rome" DLC There are no culture limits. At least looking at the Decision and Event code it says there are no limits.
restore_roman_empire = { is_high_prio = yes potential = { has_dlc = "Legacy of Rome" age = 16 prisoner = no NOT = { trait = incapable } NOT = { has_global_flag = rome_restored } has_landed_title = e_byzantium religion_group = christian }

In my 200+ hours of Victoria I've never seen Poland.
I've seen it done through crisis once or twice and someone bitched slapped Russia so hard it flew off in the peace deal. Rebellions also get it out often since Russia sucks whenever it's fighting anything except the player apparently.
bull-shit
I swear to the lord. I've been playing Japan and finally got rank 8 and when I went to check who I'd be replacing I saw them on the GP list. Help.

In CK2 I started a game as the King of Castille. Within like four years, he got married, had two children, and died off in battle with his brother (the King of Leon). His son who is like one year old inherits both their entire kingdoms. Unsure if this is good for me or bad.

Could also turn into a bad thing though. There's a chance of revolts, which is a mixed bag itself. On the plus side, if you're able to crush it, you'll get a big opinion boost for putting it down which means everyone will liike you more in the short term. The downside should be more obvious; your realm splitting into two separate kingdoms again, vassals depending independence, and so on. Then you have to worry about the moslems invading during all this time too.
I've almost always had AI formed Scandinavia, I thought that was the norm :v:
[IMG_thumb]http://cloud-3.steampowered.com/ugc/795190793245748195/07C87FCF53C3B104ED567477AA1071079F630409/1024x576.resizedimage[/IMG_thumb] Guys. Guys help. The AI did this.
I've actually seen the AI form Scandinavia quite often. I even got lucky once as Germany because Denmark was a sphere of mine, and they ended up forming it. That gave me boosted relations with Scandinavia. Same went for Italy (I got in good with Sardinia and helped them defeat the Austrians and the French-aligned states)
If Pan-Scandinavian rebels take over any Scandinavian country, they'll form the union anyway. Goes for all culturally unifyable countries.
So I'm dicking around generating mods with the V2 Random Scenario Generator. I got one called "The Walrus of Order". Seriously, the names this thing generates is the best thing about it. [editline]a[/editline] I just generated another one, with only one (unifiable) culture. Meet The Road to Lies:
Starting factions: 832 (631 of which are small), releasable factions: 38, factions total: 871
If some nation gets all of those nations in its sphere it can form the great nation of Saraña, which'd span the entire world. I'd love to see Pan-Sarañan rebels in this thing. Something also tells me that I won't be playing this one ever. If anyone feels like trying to unify the entire freaking world (not even uncolonized provinces) I can provide the mod. [editline]Oh god the n's are breaking my posts![/editline] Here's a map of this monstrosity. [thumb]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/13459825/Sarana_world.png[/thumb]

My game gets stuck on Processing after I added a new nation, any help?
My game gets stuck on Processing after I added a new nation, any help?
What game
Does having RoI on help deter the massive blobbing of the Ilkhanate? I finally became the King of Jerusalem and Antioch (and still Duke of Toulouse) in my game circa 1250. I was fairly content until I looked to the east and saw how absurdly large the Khanate was already. With them in the east and the Golden Horde still in control of England and its holdings in France, Christendom is doomed.

I sort of watched in horror as two counties in France, the Papacy and Hungary were the only Christian countries left and all of Europe converted to Islam. By the time I finally managed to assassinate enough of the Caliphs that the realm collapsed (they somehow managed to continue going after burning through ten Caliphs in four years) all of Europe had been converted to Islam and the last Christian province was the Papacy which had been forced to move to Sicily.
[t]http://puu.sh/7QgoS.jpg[/t] Sweet, sweet revenge. There's something awesome about seeing all of Christendom unite against the Golden Horde like this. Now if only they'll be prepared to do it against the Ilkhanate: [t]http://puu.sh/7Qgvc.jpg[/t] The bastards just sacked Constantinople.
