Actually, there's already this one country naming mod that stays historical and serious, let's just do something really over the top and funny instead. As an example, I propose a PrlD Dai Nam be called 'Nam.

I think the biggest issue will be naming all the German clusterfuck countries. [sp]BD Hamburg should be called "Hamburger Republic" though.[/sp]

Does anyone else find the whole "colonial nations" thing they added in to ruin EU4? It ruined my empire that I spent a long time building; Is there any way to disable it?

I like being able to name and watch my colonies grow, but I hate that I cannot produce units in the provinces, and lose large sums of income the moment they turn into a colony(unless I raise tariffs).

It's just so nice to have them actually be friendly to you for a change it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

Ironman always sounded like a stupid mechanic to me, I never really saw the point of using it since I don't cheat and I find the game(s) more fun when you have to suffer the consequences. And I'd prefer not having the game save every damn month, that sounds so annoying if you ask me.
