I really hate the fact that I can't have some control over my allies, especially the ones in my Personal Union. I hate getting fucked over in a war because the AI decides it's a smart idea to move his men out just as we're about to be attacked.

They will declare a crusade, then declare it won despite not taking anything, or earning any territory. They do get a 20% authority bonus from it I guess.

Playing Darkest Hour with 'anyone can declare war' on is crazy. Ok Italy, you can declare war on Iceland. Venezuela, why are you at war with Guyana?

Playing CK2 on ironman mode sounds like pure madness to me. Imagine being 300 years in and getting one of the game's countless game-breaking bugs. Like currently there's this bug where you can inherit a revolt title. If this happens to you you can just scrap your game because holding the title prevents you from doing pretty much anything.

I get through a month in 30 seconds or so, or less even. Boom. 30 second autosave. Rinse and Repeat.

Believe me, they make games unbelievably boring in later games.

Can you form/conquer the HRE as a Norse Pagan?

I was thinking of someone taking the entire map as the HRE, then having it on the lowest crown authority. Then you would have a whole bunch of countries covering half the known world, and your goal in EU4 would be to try reuniting the empire.
