Really wish Ironman saving would work for me. So annoying that it will just crash the game and steam sometimes.
so
is the prototype leak of east vs west any fun?
Not really.

The EvW leak is completely broken. From what I can tell some guys on /gsg/ are working on fixing it.
so

So, EUIV?
Im having trouble getting these borders to look proper in the game can someone like outline of what they think the borders for the Reichskommanstats and Poland should be on the HOI3 map below?
Compare

to

Dark blue = Ostland
Brownish = Ukraine
What's this based on?
So, EUIV?
Are you serious?
EUIV is to EU3 a massive upgrade.
And if you find EUIV mediocre and unfinished, you are an idiot.
What's this based on?
Germany wins WW2, Japan loses to US, Sov is pushed behind Urals, Italy is split, Sealion is a victory, America signs a peace treaty, Englands oversea empire falls apart, communists rise, etc.
So.... Fatherland?
What I'd like to see is a post-WW2 scenario that ends up in a war with the German sphere against the Japanese sphere with the US/North America as a possible wildcard.
It could make for some really interesting story.

Think this
And then I mean the epilogue game.
So uh. You mean like, The man in the high castle?

It was really weird since it was the only novel that Phillip K Dick actually wrote using well; an outline, research and a structure, all things that typically go into writing novels. It has a lot of really cool ideas and outlines of uses for potential tech.
[editline]18th June 2014[/editline]
It'd be a bit awesome to see it adapted into a mod, though it would require a completely new map since the Mediterranean doesn't actually exist anymore.
[editline]18th June 2014[/editline]
Like it's an alternate history novel and it has a subplot where there's an alternate history novel in the novel.

I find it mediocre and unfinished because any majorly interesting features you are forced to purchase in a DLC.
Want to play your colonial nation? Pay up.
Want to be an actual trading republic? Pay up.
Want to have more flavour for Non-Ottoman Muslims? Pay up.
Want to have just wee bit more flavour for America? Pay up.
8 Fucking Dollars for events that should have been in the game in the FIRST PLACE.
Ah thats neat, EvW has Monarchy Succession. Also if the King/Queen is killed in the UK it effects every country that shares that monarch.

I'm getting a malware warning
with ck2 the DLC was understandable as it added flavor to the game in aspects that weren't the main focus, ie everyone who wasn't a "crusader king". while eu3 required all the expansions to be decent, the expansions came out over a period of time much longer than they're releasing the DLC now and it just seems like a cash grab

I'm getting a malware warning
It's probably nothing. All I did was literally reupload it from the hoi3 thread.

The main expansions of the CK2 DLCs, such as The Old Gods or Rajas of India actually add major content and are worth it. The portrait DLCs are annoying but aren't totally required.
The EUIV DLCs are 99% just cut content that they've repackaged.
Portrait DLC's add a fair bit for the roleplaying aspect with not everyone looking the same and most I recommend. However never touch the fucking Mediterranean one. It turns everyone into fucking Goblins.

And the Turkish Portrait pack makes everyone look like they're mummies
And the Turkish Portrait pack makes everyone look like they're mummies
And let's not even talk about the mediterranean pack :v:
EDIT:I'm fucking retarded.
So.... Fatherland?
I never read any of those alt-history books, but it sounds abit right the only differences are that Britain is having socialist elements uprising, Italy is divided with a DMZ, Greece was reclaimed and the Americans have a foothold in Northern Africa and the Suez Canal. The ROC will probably be a growing third party in this due to distrust of both the Soviets and Americans, maybe I will replace the Comintern with a third faction based around them.
Also I'm curious, would Puyi, the Manchurian emperor still have de jure claims over mainland china due to the Mandate of Heaven or was he largely irrelevant as a noble at that point?
I would say that he has more Legitimacy than the ROC and the PRC.
ROC and PRC being fucking warlords.
The Turkish portraits look _nothing_ like they're advertised

I figured the same but the people deposed the Qing in 1911 due to their failure to lead them, Im not sure if Manchuria should have cores on all of China.

Only issue is that a lot of those simply aren't doable in Victoria 2's timeframe or the infamy system.
I like breaking America in POD

I wonder how did this happen. 50% of population in an Egyptian province is Croatian and 76% of its workforce is slaves.

This is totally plausible, right?
