What I'd like to see is a post-WW2 scenario that ends up in a war with the German sphere against the Japanese sphere with the US/North America as a possible wildcard. It could make for some really interesting story. Ah thats neat, EvW has Monarchy Succession. Also if the King/Queen is killed in the UK it effects every country that shares that monarch.

with ck2 the DLC was understandable as it added flavor to the game in aspects that weren't the main focus, ie everyone who wasn't a "crusader king". while eu3 required all the expansions to be decent, the expansions came out over a period of time much longer than they're releasing the DLC now and it just seems like a cash grab

The portrait DLCs are annoying but aren't totally required. The EUIV DLCs are 99% just cut content that they've repackaged.

Portrait DLC's add a fair bit for the roleplaying aspect with not everyone looking the same and most I recommend. However never touch the fucking Mediterranean one. It turns everyone into fucking Goblins.

The ROC will probably be a growing third party in this due to distrust of both the Soviets and Americans, maybe I will replace the Comintern with a third faction based around them. Also I'm curious, would Puyi, the Manchurian emperor still have de jure claims over mainland china due to the Mandate of Heaven or was he largely irrelevant as a noble at that point?
