I just don't think it is plausible that they would have lost without it, and the fact that the Bolsheviks get clobbered makes me sad. France is also way to strong. I know it's hypothetical, but Germany should be able to hold them off easily. That is why I want the Soviet Union in game- so Germany has to put up with another, much more plausible to fronted war. It makes them seem less pathetic.

Hey guys, I was wondering if you had a few good tips for how to stabilize or consolidate realms as a christian. I began a 1066 start by trying to form wales. All went well and quickly, and so I began to expand into Ireland before I landed a Breton claimant to the dukedom of Brittany and pressed his claim. He's my only duke tier vassal, and he only holds one county at present, but I'm wondering how I can integrate his part of the realm into mine more securely. I want to start getting Welsh nobles for the titles over by France and such so they're less willing to demand independence or something. Am I just worrying about nothing and I should spend my attention trying to conquer more of Ireland and Scotland?

When playing as muslim i wish there was a intrigue decision to revoke all non-muslim vassal titles, having just invaded italy as the badshah of hispania. revoking everything one by one is quite annoying.

Apparently on the Victoria Ultimate forum, Ed is regarded as a god and every other post is about how I am a terrible and lazy person.

Went on their forums and was rather annoyed by all the insults towards me there. So I made this post. You've all gotten sick of my bitching now so sorry, but I wanted to save it somewhere since I have a feeling they might just ban me and move on: [QUOTE]Hi, I'm Panzer. Regardless of what ended up happening, I will always be thankful for what he taught me. Now, I've seen two big accusations made against me. Hopefully with the opening in mind, I can answer them: [B]1.) The last version (.35) was ruined by me and my inclusion of joke events / censorship:[/B] This is one I've seen quite a few times, originating a few weeks before I left the mod on Reddit. Basically, Ed, me and another member of the Coop (Kaiser) were joking around in a chat and wondering what events we could add. I brought up two things that would become events, one was that the Japan had exploded with fanart of the Ukrainian Chief Justice (I think that was her title, something like that) and I suggested that since we were incorporating events that were involved with modern events, we could do so. Ed wrote the event and made it so Japan and Russia got a small opinion boost, I made a picture for it. The second one was the Ultimate in Ultimate one. In retrospect, this was a bit wonky in its execution and I wish I said something to Ed but I was happy that Ed liked one of my ideas so I never mentioned it. Basically I suggested we have an event for Ultimate being made, and wrote the event description for it. I jokingly mentioned how it was the best mod ever made, and Ed made some rather large effects for it which meant quite a lot of prestige as well as other things. I asked why and he said it's balanced by the fact that countries have tons of prestige in the modern era. Basically, I will take blame for these two events. These are the only two events I had any part of that weren't in the WW2 era. We only had 5 or so days after this for .34 to come out and then 7 days after for .35 so even if I wanted to destroy the mod and ruin the update like so many people claim I did, I wouldn't have had the time. The next events people attribute to me are some rather odd events concerning Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber and other pop stars that slammed them as disgraces to the nation and took away their prestige and such. Many people yelled at me for adding these and told me that I was ruining the mod by making it immature. The only problem with this is that I never made these events, Ed did. I fought tooth and nail to try and get them refused but even though Ed said I could if I truly wanted to, I felt uncomfortable doing so without his permission as I still saw him as the leader, even though we had a coop. Maybe that too is my fault, not having just deleted them myself. Still, I kept them in and the ModDB community seemed to love them so I tried to be hopeful about them. I did not make any of these events, I only had the idea for the first two, and that's that. I don't know what else made .35 'awful' but I highly doubt I did whatever made it so. I only added decisions and events to WW2 and tried to make WW2 more in depth, I may have added one or two misc flavor events but certainly nothing that would actually harm the update. Finally, I was told I censored the mod. I never censored anything, the only thing I did was set up an alternate version entirely by myself with Ed's approval that had the Swastika and the Holocaust removed. I uploaded this to the Paradox forums and Ed uploaded the regular version to our forum, our website and our ModDB (and then he said we were done with ModDB and they never got .35) I never censored anything. The only 'censoring' I did in the regular mod was asking Ed not to use terms like 'barbaric' when he talked of Middle Eastern culture in the mod because I was afraid that people would take it the wrong way. He didn't take my advise, I never censored anything. [B]2.) I took all the power and then stormed out, leaving the mod with no one to do anything / then killed the mod while laughing and playing the fiddle over a burning Rome:[/B] If there is any accusation that holds any form of truth in it this is probably the one, it is also the one I feel guilty for. When I first joined the mod, as I said, I did not to stay long term, I simply wanted to be a member of a team and gain some experience, and maybe something I put in my portfolio. When I joined the mod, I quickly saw Ed asking if anyone wanted to be the PR guy. I said why the hell not? I'd operate an email, try and establish some deals with Youtubers and maybe make us a website. It was fun at first and I like to think I did a decent job (though Ed would later accuse me of doing poorly, he didn't think so until we fought at the end, so I assume he said so out of anger.) I answered several dozen emails, trying to answer everything I was given, many times even giving people my Skype so we could chat one on one. I made us a new forum which was very often requested, and gave every one of the devs who signed up admin rights because I didn't want to be the sole owner. I made us a new website, because a complaint I had gotten was that the old one looked very bad, and I got us on the Paradox forums which was the final major suggestion. This was fine. It was more work that I initially expected and the insults from random people was hard to deal with, and my god the Reddit fights, but I generally think it was a good run, even though it was rather short. Basically, I had effectively taken charge of the website and the Paradox forum, and this made me sort of the number 2 in the coop after Ed. Though we were all equal, Ed offered to make me the mod leader if I thought the coop was going badly after I gave him my worries that the coop wouldn't work. I turned him down each time, not wanting to take power over my own personal fears, and we continued on as usual. When Ed announced he was leaving, I promised to try and keep things organized. The coop, in the week or so that Ed was gone, had literally no additions by anyone besides me. No one was really doing any work, and I'm assuming it's because Ed was gone and we all assumed the mod was dead. I switched us to a monthly dev update time with Ed's permission as .35 had been so lackluster from lack of time, and tried to do what I could. Then Google deleted it all, and that's where it came to a head. Me and Ed had been friendly enough but that was because we had been desperately avoiding the many topics we disagreed on, and when Google deleted it it just all spewed out. Why did it happen? Because me and Ed fought a lot. Ed refused to get Google support on the issue because it would require him to give a phone number and address and he was very sensitive about personal info. I gave him my own so we could get the support and Google promptly told us to go fuck ourselves. Ed told me that we could remake what we lost there, I told him there was simply too much lost and since no one else on the team had really been responding to my emails or working on the coop, I'd essentially be the only dev. He accused me of being lazy, I accused him of being the same. We fought, I told him that I simply couldn't do this and quit. Harsh words were exchanged between both of us, he accused me of never having cared for the mod and abandoning it after only a few weeks, I accused him of some other things, we took the fight to ModDB, he made accusations about me and I made the same ones just like in our chat and finally he deleted the ModDB and told the community I killed the mod. After this, I felt quite bad but I was relieved the fighting and pressure to keep the mod going was over. I tried to go on my own way but the constant insults I was getting got too much, plus the insults apparently being directed at me here and on other Ultimate related places, so I felt if I didn't come here and try and clear my name in some way they'd just get worse. I never planned for what happened to happened, and I wish people would just leave me alone about the damn thing. I wish the new team good luck in doing better than I did, though that surely won't be hard, and I ask people stop demonizing me so much. is it common to get fucked up while playing as a norse? first time i tried i died in a dual 3 years in second time i was made incapable in about the same amount of time. either really bad luck or they must have events spawn that stop you being super powerful might try muslim or earl of munster again now i have all the extra dlc

Sounds like really bad luck. If anything, the only real weakness of the Norse is the atrocious skills of the average courtier/noble/breeding-stock.

Hell, he was even annoying the new team lead and it seemed that he was going to get ban hammered in the shoutbox. Just don't let that guy get to you, just delete all hate mail you get without reading it and eventually they will find something else to complain about and find someone else to blindly hate.

It might be worth it to go under the radar for a while until they realize that they are not going to bait you into a fight

Apparently him and the lead admin of Rebooted had a fight with him because he was being rude (hue) and he stormed out and his forum is now being helplessly spammed. I've also matched his grammar and spelling without about three of the spammers on my various pages. So I'm guessing everyone has found a new target. This is great!
