Maybe it has a syntax error or can't read the unique characters since it looks like you're playing a Spanish speaking country? Also its saying the government type for Iraq doesn't exist for whatever reason?

Messed around with my industrialized China save and launched an invasion on Japan together with my allies France and Germany. Here's a battle involving almost 700 brigades. I shipped in new units from time to time and so did Japan. [t]http://i.imgur.com/VnMnLVd.jpg[/t] It ended after 511 days. I didn't see the casualties, but I assume it's a few hundred thousand soldiers. I changed party so that my industries became more automated by letting capitalists control them. Soon after this happened. It's actually the second Boxer rebellion, I lost (they just need to capture a single region and hold it for a while) and the West got super pissed. [t]http://i.imgur.com/DNfHxch.jpg[/t] The conquest of Japan wasn't as easy as I thought, they had mobilized their troops so I fought waves and waves of new soldiers. It got really dragged out. I also added a bunch of wargoals which got my infamy above 30. So what happens next is basically the entire civilized world declaring war on me. I quit the game when that happened :v: Edit: Oh and funny thing, Turkey, France end New Zealand are communist countries.

OK Paradox your RTS looks very nice and all but I'm still waiting on my space-based grand strategy game that handles like CK2 but has huge space empires instead of Europe

My first successful playthrough of Serbia had a war between a Bosnian Serb and a Croat vassal of mine. I had no idea there wasn't a way to mediate so I kidnapped the Croat vassals 7 year old son and his 4 year old daughter before executing them both when I saw he didn't stop. This is a great intro to CKII.

This may sound like a stupid question but can someone explain to me the "appeal" of Crusader Kings 2 because no matter how much I try, I just can't get in to it. I get Europa Universalis, I get Victoria and I get Hearts of Iron but I just don't get Crusader Kings 2. Even as someone whose fairly experienced with Paradox games, I find CK2 to be just confusing and awkward by comparison to the other Paradox Grand Strategies. Can someone explain to me what I'm missing exactly?

Any other good Paradox games? I started out with EUIV a week ago and I already conquered all of Egypt, Arabia and East Africa as Oman. I'm hungry for more conquest.

Get the expansions and Pop Demand Mod if you're gonna get Victoria 2, though.

Played fascist Spain in my Vic2 game and allied with Germany. Joined the war and pushed north through France together with Italy. By 1940 we had annexed all of France and crossed the english channel to Great Britain. Fast forward to 2 ½ years, it's the summer of 1942. Britian has capitulated and become fascist together with us, only France and USA is left on the Allies. I built a fleet of transport ships and sent my army across the Atlantic and started my invasion of southern United states, after annexing Florida and some other stuff north of it, the war is over. The Axis has won and the nazis are in total control of Europe. It's 1948 now, I declare war on France again to take some of their precious lands, calling Germany in to aid me. Germany totaly steamrolls through everything and after one year, Germany has taken half of France. This causes Soviet (Soviet never even got a chance to join WW2) to attack Germany, a war in which all the fascist countries in Europe side with Germany in. Soviet gets the upper hand the first few years but are later pushed back by the Nazi forces. All of Soviet ends up getting taken by Germany Nazi germany stronk. [t]http://i.imgur.com/X39p8BD.jpg[/t]

I really wish I could get into HoI3. I love the idea of persistent armies and the armchair-general feel of the game but the whole feel of the game never really stuck with me. Meanwhile I play the absolute fuck out of CK2 and EU4. Granted, I probably gave it a fraction of the chance I gave the latter two, but hmph.

The game is awful without, SF, FTM and TFH if anyone is wondering why I ask. Also what're the best mods for CK2 that keep a vanilla feel?
