Key feature for one of the EU expansions or new instalment:
Some kind of "arcade" mode that allows you to blob more and incentive alliances between AI's on some factor (religion, state, cultures, etc etc) depending on the timeframe.
Kinda like Death And Taxes for EU III, where you could see UK invading the Italian peninsula or the northern coast of Africa.
UK did that even in vanilla though
UK did that even in vanilla though
Yes, that's true, but I believe it was far less common than in a modded game.
In short: More % for that kind of stuff
Is it normal for the HRE to just implode around 1275 like 400 years ahead of schedule
I crash ingame like every 2 ingame years when I autosave in any vanilla ironman game and it crashes steam with it what do

Ironman just adds unneeded bugs and problems and if something goes amuck you're screwed.

b-but achievements and skill
b-but achievements and skill
Just use the honor system and if you MUST have the achievements use SAM. If there's some in game achievements system then I don't know.
What's SAM?
steam achievement manager
[editline]9th September 2014[/editline]
it lets you change the status of achievements on your account
just make sure you don't use it for games not installed and don't run it while a game is running or else you could risk a vac ban
I would play Ironman more, but the autosaving is too much for my shit PC.

If you set it to autosave locally it won't be as annoying.
Ironman isn't annoying in CKII, why can't Paradox max the EUIV Ironman like the CKII one.
Is there any reason my armies refuse to attack the Zapotec?

They're exiled, you need to take them back to a territory you control.
I think that you can also just put them on a ship for one day and return them to land and they'll be unexiled, but that's gamey

you managed to get the Byzantines to the New World? Good job
After I take the Knights, Kaffa, Georgia, Candar and Trebizond the Ottomans then declare war on me and then I end up losing horribly, even when I have allies like Hungary.
Either that or I just build up my armies and take Northern Greece, then I get bored
In EUIV, is it worth it to Westernize the commonwealth at 1647 with Russia at 175 troop limit and CW at 112?
Edit:
Also, did I just get schooled by Hitler in hoi3 tutorial?
Retarding yourself to westernize causes more damage than not westernizing as the eastern tech group.

It's pretty helpful if you do it really early (around 1500s) as Poland. Especially if you have Lithuania in a PU, since they'll automatically deal with any rebels you may have.
What's an interesting starter country?
Not big but not exactly tiny either.

Teutonic Order. Its a real challenge without being overwhelming.
Ottomans are pretty easy but really enjoyable.

Tried Ottomans already.
My eyes are on either Ethiopia, Brunei, or Oman. Which one would be best?
Oman is pretty interesting, since they're more trade-oriented than other nations nearby.
I redid my Byzantium to New World playthrough, since without core creations you can't get your capital over there.

Did I do well?

Out of those I would pick Brunei. As far as Asian games go I would personally recommend playing as a Japanese Daimyo or Aceh.

You hit the wrong continent man.
You should've done a New Rome style deal in North America, now you've just blanda upped with the natives like a common Spaniard.
