Burgundy at the start of the game is hilariously easy to dominate with.
Playing as Brazil is a lot of fun, surprisingly, in Vicky 2.

I had the most unlucky start in a recent mp game where France was almost instantaneously balkanized from the beginning, largely because an Occitan child sat on the French throne. Countless succession wars and foreign invasions from an surprisingly aggressive AI England drastically crippled the kingdom's overall manpower to wage war. Before we ended that wild session, I did come very close to winning yet another war to install my dude as the king of France though.

So is there any sort of save converter from CKII to EUIII to Vicky II to HOI3? I want to play as one country through all the ages, and lead them there the entire way. Seems like a fun and totally unreasonable thing to do.
There is one for EUIII-> Vic2 AND one for CKII -> EU3 http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?587798-The-CK2-To-EU3-Converter-Project http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?490709-EU3toVic2-Vic2toHoi3-Converter-Project The HoI3 is broken as hell ATM and for the CKII one you need to have an account(with CKII) on paradox forums.

This will be one fun time.
I really hope there will be a CK2 -> EU4 converter
There probably (hopefully) will be one eventually.
Wtf is up with EU3, I tried invading Scotland as England, they have 4 regiments, I have 30, suddenly they shit out 22 regiments out of nowhere, no production bar or anything.
Wtf is up with EU3, I tried invading Scotland as England, they have 4 regiments, I have 30, suddenly they shit out 22 regiments out of nowhere, no production bar or anything.
Regiments and mercenaries are more or less infinite and Scotland might have plenty of money and manpower to support them, but if they go over the forcelimit and war exhaustion they'll suffer penalties, so you'd maybe want to grind down their power via sieges and defensive battles before moving onward. Also 22 regiments out of the ass are nothing; Bavaria usually shits out 100k soldiers a year in my game if they have no war exhaustion.
Having recently upgraded to the most recent generation of i5's, x5 speed is now hilarious for me. In Ck2, A year went by on x5 in 36 seconds.
I really want to play a CK2 -> EU3 -> Vic2 -> HOI3 -> EvW game once it comes out. Using the old gods dlc, that means a game spanning from 800 to 1991.
I really hope there will be a CK2 -> EU4 converter
Johann said something about really looking into adding a official converter in an early EU4 video. how do you release dynamic dominions in HOD?
Luxembourg (the green) has been quite the expansionist in recent years.
What happened to the HRE, or am I missing something?
Looks like duchy view, still has the black/yellow outline
Looks like duchy view, still has the black/yellow outline
Ah, I see. My mistake then. I was hoping there was a way to get rid of HRE.
Looks like duchy view, still has the black/yellow outline
I'm in direct vassal mapmode, yeah. Emperor is silly; he must've tried to imprison me or something since it caused me to revolt, I quickly surrendered. He released me from prison and awarded me with some title, huh.
Oh, I love how in CKII if you were in France, you could just literally eat up the kingdom from inside..
I'm in direct vassal mapmode, yeah. Emperor is silly; he must've tried to imprison me or something since it caused me to revolt, I quickly surrendered. Greeks don't fuck around.
How's the Vicky 2 -> HOI3 converter? Does it support countries left over from EU3, like Byzantium?
How's the Vicky 2 -> HOI3 converter? Does it support countries left over from EU3, like Byzantium?
Nope, it only features the HOI3 countries, hence why it's so troublesome to use it.
Nope, it only features the HOI3 countries, hence why it's so troublesome to use it.
Plus the development is all but dead if I recall.
Ah, I see. My mistake then. I was hoping there was a way to get rid of HRE.
I remember playing vanilla as the Pomeranians managing to save my culture by advancing rapidly while in the empire, I did have to convert, but suddenly the HRE just completely ceased to exist for no reason I could find. So there might be an event, but I have no idea what it is. You can also just simply usurp the HRE and destroy it if you make another Empire.
