So uh, does anyone know any obscure historical 15th century kingdoms that didn't make their way into EU4? I'm adding it to a mod (of a mod merger) I already added Hormuz & Zanzibar (missing national ideas however), and Semien is next up. [sp]It's part of a mod that merges Bit Better Borders, Dei Gratia, Typus Orbus Terrarum, Background Depth and Society Mod, and Extended Vanilla Experience[/sp]
Zanzibar? Are you sure you're not making Metal Gear?
I've been having an odd issue with the checksum in EU4. It has made it impossible to play online, and I'm kind of curious if anyone else has had it or fixed it. Whenever I reinstall, I get a different checksum. I can delete every Paradox related file on my computer and install cleanly, yet I'll always get the same issue with the checksum. I reinstalled it one final time, and now it doesn't generate a checksum at all. It just crashes.
Do you ever verify the integrity of your game cache?
I've done it so many times, I've lost count. It never found anything wrong.
Zanzibar? Are you sure you're not making Metal Gear?
:v seriously though, can anyone help
I've done it so many times, I've lost count. It never found anything wrong.
Try deleting the EU4 folder in the documents. [editline]14th December 2014[/editline]
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_kingdoms ?
Kinda helps but it's a bit tedious as well
Try deleting the EU4 folder in the documents.
I've done it every time I've had to reinstall. It has never actually helped, oddly enough.
I've done it every time I've had to reinstall. It has never actually helped, oddly enough.
You sure you have deleted every single trace of eu4 there is? Because I have no idea how this can persist. Also delete eu4 folder after uninstalling the game through steam? Well, then a format would surely help with you.

Whats that?
Bring china to its full potential and rule the world mwahahaha
[t]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/545264393585318591/C1BDC5847E0E899A34466ADB01466A48F3FE792A/[/t] Mhh, border gore and puppeted nazi germany.
First of all, what's up with those disgusting borders? Second of all, what mod is that?
Second of all, what mod is that?
Looks like BlackICE to me. Couldn't get that thing to work since it uses that installer.
snip misread
Looks like BlackICE to me. Couldn't get that thing to work since it uses that installer.
Well, that already explains too much.
At least border gore in CK2 is plausible.
Honestly the biggest problem with HOI3 border fuckery is that you can't figure out peace settlements proper. Every country kind of chooses its own wargoals which it can add to a country after a set period of time and when it gets enforced it kind of prioritizes them one after another, leading into some batshit insane deformities like Germany getting an encalve of a third country after its allies conquered it once Germany made a DoW. If they actually had a peace accord mechanic of sorts it'd work out in both the MP and the SP, allowing you to make unconditional surrender an actually impacting event for the winner, while also allowing the countries/factions at war to decide on a compromise should a stalemate prolong itself.

so this new "right click diplomacy menu" in CKII is taking a bit to get used to.
It's the stupidest fucking thing they've done yet.
Looks like BlackICE to me. Couldn't get that thing to work since it uses that installer.
Whats wrong with the installer?
lol how can you seriously think that? It makes interacting with characters way more convenient
Maybe he has his reasons, maybe it is really bad through a modders' eyes. Though I have read positive stuff about it from some modders, I haven't even installed the update yet, I don't have an opinion personally.
Biggest issue with HoI3 was the fact that you couldn't sign peaces until everyone in the faction surrendered. I'd like to see it, like, England capitulating and signing a truce with Hitler. Yeah that's in HPP, but that's an event as opposed to player control
lol how can you seriously think that? It makes interacting with characters way more convenient
I would have much rather they'd have added the ability to add more things through the regular menu. It would have been much better for modders in my opinion and would have been better for ludites like me who hate right clicking a lot. [editline]16th December 2014[/editline] I guess I'm just being cranky, but still, it's something I didn't think needed to be changed.
