I just had a Great war, where the Ottoman Empire became a Dominion of Great Britain.

Wh.. what. Prussia looses the first great war really badly, they are nor longer a Great or Secondary nation, Fascists rebels pop up and... they form the (Democratic) North German Federation.

Reminds me of my game. Socialists formed a democratic NGF and Bavaria was Communist.
Can the spymaster affect claims in any way or did you mean to say chancellor?
A simple mistake in the post. The spymaster has no affect on claims.
Alright, so an update on the Kingdom of Ireland. Jreusalam holds a small province where Lithuania used to be. I have to thank Genoa for upping my money, because of the trade routes they built for me.
The fourth Duke Mael Dunid died, his son Cenn Faelid took over. He died 12 months later in battle, he was the second child of Mael. The first son as well. The fourth Child, Jorge took over while he was 5 years old, the first regency started. Nothing bad happened while he was regent, he grew up and had 7 children before dying at 39 of Smallpox.
His first son Leonidas took over ruled for 50 years, and than his son Mael-Losa took over and united the country as The Kingdom of Ireland. He almost didn't have a male heir, with his first daughter almost taking the crown. Finally, his first wife Guntroda died at age 65 and I married Mael to a 16 year old Scananavian woman. They had twins on the first go (he was 69 at this point :P) Brian (the girl) and Bryan (the boy). Another child was conceived when he was 71, but only months after turning 72 he died of Old Age, we were in the middle of a Civil War at that point. Luckily, the two year old Bryan was able to take the throne, with a regent of course! Luckily Mael's second wife had a second son, the one conceived earlier right before his death. Olav was born. Another rebellion took place, we were wrapping up the first when this one happened. However, Bryan was brutally murdered in his sleep as a young boy aged 2. Luckily Olav was there to take the throne, with a regent. Then, a third rebellion popped up as we were finished up the second, we wrapped the second up and destroyed the third. Olav, not even 12 yet has secured his spot on the throne.
I've decided it was time to dismantle the Holy Roman Empire once and for all. Almost overnight the entirely of Europe decided to form a grand coalition against me, henceforth called The Vienna League. Even the bulging Roman Empire to the east are in on this—against me of course.
Indeed, dark times for Brunswick is ahead. But the sacrifices of her brave sons will naught be in vain, for the days of the heretical Holy Roman Empire is over!
I just had the stupidest Vic2 game. I mean, the only true "great powers" are:
1. Persia
2. Serbia
3. Portugal
The rest are Russia, Germany, France, Papal States and Babylon with it's dumb republic flag.
England got wrecked by a coalition between France, Montenegro, Greece and Moldavia.
Oh and Babylon is now the most awful blob ever, it looks like a box frankenstein
Nobody posted it yet, so here's the changelog for CK2 1.10: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?690260-Crusader-Kings-II-The-Old-Gods-Official-Q-amp-A-Thread

THE SARACENS ARE AT THE GATES OF CHRISTENDOM
Dat blobhemia.
How do I get more into Crusader Kings 2, I have the demo but it is kinda confusing, Any starting tips?
Try to play in Ireland to start out. County of Dublin to be more exact. You can't exactly teach a person how to play a Paradox game, they have to figure it out on their own. You can learn tips and stuff, but it's up to you.
Bohemia is hardly a blob.
Now, this. This is a blob.

Dear God, that is ugly. Almost makes you want to conquer it purely to get rid of that disgusting mess.

watch a let's play of it. best way to learn a paradox game is by playing it, second best is by watching someone else experienced with the game play it.
I think a let's play might actually be the overall best way to learn it. I tried a couple hours myself and i was struggling. Then i watched an hour of a let's play, and i learned pretty much everything i had to know. A week after that i had conquered nearly the whole map almost effortlessly. (Then the empire crashed and burned in the timespan of 1 year)
LPArchive has a pretty good Ireland game that will show you how to play.

Yeah, the 5.2 and 3.02 patches have been released for EU3 and Victoria 2, respectively.
So I FINALLY formed the Empire of Tamriel in Elder Kings, then Paradox finally releases the new patch and breaks all my mods.
Great timing on Paradox's part I tell you hwat
Crusaders on sale
Yeah, the 5.2 and 3.02 patches have been released for EU3 and Victoria 2, respectively.
Any idea what month patch 5.2 they're using? Gonna assume it was December.
Crusaders on sale
Except for the DLC I want. Well I sold a tf2 hat on the market and got the Sunset DLC.
Damn, $8 short.
I guess I'll wait a bit, the DLCs don't stay expensive for too long.

Updating EU3....I really hope it doesn't fuck up mods.
