Woah, You can transfer saves from game to game?
Yes, unofficial converters exist, but they're very wonky in conversion.
From what i see, geography isn't Paradox's thing. I would like really detailed geography in a new game, not having weird islands that are close to eachoter into one big island
Bribe them with money. Handling out a few honorary titles can also make them like you more. I've averted a few possible civil wars that way.
Doesn't stop factions.
Doesn't stop factions.
Send your spymaster to the faction leader and instruct them to scheme, that should fix it assuming your spymaster's loyal and doesn't suck.
Doesn't stop factions.
You can blackmail/threaten them into abandoning factions albeit you have to choose the right options or it won't work. If all else fails just kill them. :v:
I've never managed to confirm if this was the case or not, but is it worth selecting a scheme based on the target's personality? For instance I tend to blackmail proud and greedy characters, threaten cravens and obligate honest and honorable characters while avoiding blackmailing honest and humble characters, threatening brave characters or obligating deceitful or ambitious characters

I really hope EU4 is a little less crazy on the events and rebels. I had a comet sighted, my heir die in a hunting accident, and my national bank bust in the same year. Also during that time rebels were fucking up the countryside.

Beta patch for CK2 released Some interesting bits:
-Added a "Retract Vassal" interaction -Disallowed destruction of non-titular titles under Gavelkind -Norse Pagans can no longer employ the coastal conquest CB against other pagans (neighboring counties can still be taken though) - The Subjugation CB can now only be used once per lifetime instead of every 10 years. (Unless you have the 'Become King' ambition.) - Characters with the "Become King" ambition and access to the subjugation CB can no longer move their capital out of the de jure kingdom - Subjugated rulers of another religion now get a smaller opinion bonus vs the winner, lasting for a shorter time -Tengri Pagans are now limited to Agnatic succession - Slavic, Baltic and Finnish Pagans now get a bonus to their levy sizes, at the cost of their garrison bonus - The generic Pagan religion now has a description and holy sites - Added the Hellenic religion - Captured Rebel leaders now have a "Broken Spirit" modifier, making them pretty useless
>hellenic religion oh boy
-Bishops no longer wear pope hats, but the pope does Fucking finally. It was a minor thing but I'd always just glance at them for a moment since they all wore it. [editline]5th June 2013[/editline]
>hellenic religion oh boy
According to forums it's only a thing that adds to old old old rulers when you look at the history of the Byzantine title.
According to forums it's only a thing that adds to old old old rulers when you look at the history of the Byzantine title.
But you should normally be able to start as a Hellenic character using the ruler designer.
Added missing name of the Reformed Aztec Church title
Wait, you can reform the Aztec religion?
I've got a dozen provinces that have 24-25% revolt rate, and a stability of negative two. I think I'm doing it wrong on EU3.
Wait, you can reform the Aztec religion?
Yeah. Reforming Paganism was one of the main features of the old gods.
Wait, you can reform the Aztec religion?
Yep. Apparently their Holy Sites are located in Europe for god knows why.
Yep. Apparently their Holy Sites are located in Europe for god knows why.
Maybe they build them after their invasion of Europe.
I've got a dozen provinces that have 24-25% revolt rate, and a stability of negative two. I've been doing it right (atleast by my standards)
Got Scandinavian empire. Obsolutely No one at court, no vassals and no one outside likes me at all. I lost my entire army in present day normandy. Should i just fuck it and start over?
