Playing as hungary i inherited bohemia and integrated it then later vassalized thuriniga which was the current emperror at that time and i became the emperror even though 90% of my provinces were not part of the empire.
You did what even King Mátyás couldn't. I am proud.
Argh i can't stop noticing how the americas are too damn north
I'm having some really good fun with all the politics in my England game, it's 1636 and tensions around France are really high, If anyone kicks off the whole of Europe is going to be dragged into a war.

Fuck you Spain
Eu4 trading cards on Steam.
so i joined a random multiplayer game as Sweden when another player was Denmark. The Denmark player was allied with a human Hansa player and a Human Novgorod player and i decided, man, im going to show these cunts who is the king of the north. Initially, I blocked the straits between Denmark and Sweden with my superior fleet right after having the danish fleet crushed outside the coast of Poland. The novogord player joined in, as well as the hansa, but neither seemed to do much. Norway, as a AI PU under Denmark, was not much of a hassle but still annoying. After a while, the Russian started to invade east Sweden, and I lost most of my battles there. However, I managed to split his armies into two and take out one of them and then crush his entire army that way. I marched for Novgorod and he fleed, after a while he rage quitted and the AI white peaced.
Now all that was left was those filthy Danes, Germans and Norwegians. The war continued for about 10 years I think and I won most battles against those two human players together against me. They even had to get two other human players (Castille & Austria) to help them with rebels in their country. Eventually, I quit because I had to go. But I'll interpret it as a victory because I had 3 humans against me, as well as some AI nations and two human players backing those other three with rebel hunting in, for me, a three front war.
What the flying fuck, its 1797 and Great Britain just became the Holy Roman Empire some how.
Just happened in my current game now too except 270 years earlier:

Notice that small Crete blob? Well at one point Poland and Lithuania came down and took over Wallachia, Moldavia and Serbia from the Ottomans... Then Poland just integrated Lithuania and didn't create the commonwealth for some reason. After that Poland had massive rebels and a peasants war and had to release a bunch of nations. Anyway all those rebel provinces that got cut off by Ukraine for some reason defected to Crete. Now that Crete blob became much larger later in the game and they even declared war on the Ottomans. After that out of nowhere Sweden? came down and occupied all their provinces. Then let's not even talk about what's going on at the Iberian penninsula or Fez... I have no idea what's happening in this game. Oh and in one of my other games as Castille, Portugal inherited England. How is that even possible?

King Henry the mentally challenged died with low prestige while having a marriage with Portugal seems likely.
Well shit...
The Humble Paradox Bundle Has Begun!
You’ve been demanding it for months, but we were too modest to make it happen… until now! The Humble Paradox Bundle will go live today, 8 p.m. CEST (11 a.m. PDT), and you can make a donation to your choice of worthy charities while picking up a bundle of Paradox favorites!
Of course, some of our fans aren’t very humble at all, and they’ll want to make a bigger donation. Which is why, if you donate more than $125, you get The Big Kahuna package… a copy of EVERY SINGLE PARADOX GAME on Steam (not including Europa Universalis IV or DLC packages)!
Bought immediately, CK2 is way too interesting.
[editline]29th August 2013[/editline]
Too bad it doesn't include the DLC, is it much worse without them?
hi.

That bundle.
And CKII is fine without DLC, you will just have the 'Crusader King' part.
Too bad they don't accept iDeal...I really wanted showdown effect, dungeonland and levianthan warships
EDIT: Wow, thanks to the above user been a huge paradox fan and I toke most of the keys(sorry if other people wanted some of them)

You're missing out on some fun parts, such as the ability to play as a Pagan.
Really, Ruler Designer, Portrait DLCs and The Old Gods are what I think is nifty for a good playthrough.
Don't get Mediterranean, though.
Mediterranean turns the game into zombie feudalism.
The dlc literally makes half the characters look like zombies.

I sometimes get them confused with Aztecs :v:
The Mongol and African portraits are a MUST
The Norse ones are fine, but they share one of the problems with the Mediterranean one in how everyones skinny as a twig.
I have a extra War of the Vikings key left, anybody want to trade it for the Humble Bundle? PM me.

I can't see this because I am at work, but is there a forgotten realms CK2 total conversion? That could be epic.

Retinues are kinda like mandatory for later on. Since you'll need to keep your realm in check and on your own, you'll not be able to afford to increase the amount of levies you have at the same rate as retainers.
Easier to keep people in check if you're not relying on their levies all the time.
Seriously though, fuck france.
I always start with that state of mind, but now that, as HRE, Europe is essentially divided between myself and Spain, I kind of miss having a France that could hold its own. That's how it always goes I guess. You knock the shit out of a country until you realize that you've opened the door for its neighbor to take its place. (And subsequently colonize all of South America and the Caribbean aka FUCK SPAIN)
I love how you all say fuck France, in my game they were basically the only thing saving my ass.
Then again, they also basically cause world-wars with the rest of the AI.

I'm not sure how the Inca's managed to become the most powerful nation in the game, but they did.
