Good luck handling the rebellions
Picture this image in your mind if you will, 1948 but the world is dramatically different. The Reich has fallen to Sweden and Russia, the majority of Europe has fallen under the Iron Curtain while I've managed to save my Nordic brother in Denmark from the filthy communists. Sweedish forces soon landed in Mediterranean to helped the besieged forces there. Bulgarian and Italian forces were soon overwhelmed by the lighting speed of Swedish Mechanized Infantry and Armor, pushing them back from Athens to Albania in as little as a week. As the war moved closer and closer to the Bulgarian border resistance became more intense as the Small Swedish expeditionary force was outnumbered 3 to 1, but in the face of it all they persevered valiantly, and with much help of their Swedish designed vehicles they entered the Bulgarian Capital Sofiya and transferred it under Greek control.
All the while the UK stormed Africa working their way methodically upwards, landing in sicily then into the Italian homeland, Rome fell to British a month after their invasion began and a government was founded, creating the Republic of Italy. The outcome of the war left many nations divided, reborn and created new ones altogether. Libya declared independence as well as Slovenia. Greece gained Bulgarian lands and an Albanian Coup created a new democratic government. Germany was partitioned between Swedes and Russians with the north belonging to the Nords.
While in the Asian/Pacific theater the Japanese never honored a Russian cease-fire and the war flared up in the turn of the 40's, I was unsure at first at the Red Bear's chances, however the Soviet's amphibious assaults proved disastrous as the Japanese forces were crushed between the Red Army and Nationalist Chinese forces. the Republic of China-Nanjing fell as fast as it was founded. The Korean peninsula did not fare any better, and soon after the Soviet sponsored People's Democratic Republic of Korea was founded. The peninsula was free from Japanese influence for the first time in hundreds of years, or rather it transferred hands to Reds. While the commotion in the north occurred, within the Southeast Asian theater Thailand was slowly wringing the life out of Axis controlled Indochina. Until the Japanese arrived, the Thai royal army was soon overwhelmed by the experienced Japanese forces. Just when it seemed they would fall the Soviets swooped in from the Oceans and destroying any Tojo resistance in the area and declaring Indochina under representation of the Soviet Union.
Soon the US had motive to join the war, their Guarantees on the independence of South American states was disrupted by the now Paternal Autocratic government of Peru joining the Axis, no doubt from foreign Japanese influence. The American industry quickly mobilized, pumping out hundreds of thousands of vehicles and ships for the war effort.
The Asian region had maintained Status Quo while fighting in Europe continued, however as soon as the Germans fell, military forces once again moved throughout the region, Swedish forces staged an invasion base in the Philippines thanks to the US joining in the fight. The war followed much the same route as it did historically with Island Hops, only the Japanese fell even quicker without the vital resources they depended on from the Asian mainland and the additional help from the Swedish forces on the allies side. While the Americans seized the Northern Western side of the Island, Swedish forces landed from the South and secured Kyushu, Marines secured beachheads allowing the Swedish military which consisted of almost 75% Mechanized and Armored troops to quickly overwhelm the Japanese with their superior firepower and speed. The battles raged on as the fanatical Japanese defended their homeland to the last drop of blood.
After 2 weeks of fighting the Japanese forces had been pushed up North as Allied forces consolidated in Kyoto to renew their offensive, Nagoya fell within 2 days and soon both the American and Swedish were on the doorstep of the Emperor, Kyoto. Much to the surprise of everyone the last pride of the once huge German Reich remained here, Waffen-SS and Imperial Guards fought side by side in the last hope for the Imperialistic Axis powers with the fighting lasting up to a week in certain parts of the city. Japan surrendered on May 20th 1948 and was partitioned under Swedish and American control with Kyushu being left in control of Sweden. Taiwan and the Ryukyu Islands were left in control of the Soviets, the Chinese were not very happy with these events and it cannot mean much good in the future.
Finally the outcomes of the war.

In hindsight I probably should have taken pictures of the events as they were unfolding but it didn't come to my mind to write about this until now.
Mod is HPP (Historical Plausibility Project) with FTM if you're wondering.

some of these I find hard to believe.
snip
Bit unrelated, but what's the country color for your Sweden? I made Russia blue in my game and it's weird seeing two almost identical colours next to each-other.

254 203 0 is the RGB, I took it from the gold on their flag. I changed some of the other colors to my liking, some of them in vanilla are really bland and look alike.
There's too many greens in HOI, I'd say. Europe has like, Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Turkey. There's also Brazil, Mexico, Australia, and I'm sure Manchuria and Guanxi count as being very painfully green, too.

Oh, and Carlists took control of Spain
Is EU IV recommendable or is there a possibly better game like it?
I already have Vic 2 and Crusader kings 2, so is EU IV worth the price tag?

I wonder what it is. The picture doesn't seem to give any hints, or does it?

Siberia?
Oregon Trail DLC!
That was my first thought too but obviously doesn't fit in CK.
So... Vinland?
My guess is Crusade DLC.
My guess is Crusade DLC.
For a game called Crusader Kings 2?
For a game called Crusader Kings 2?
Crusades could still use a little work, I'd say. I'd especially love if crusades had a sort of muster point, ala Venice during the Fourth Crusade. Instead you get all these mid-sized Christian armies popping up in Outremer and being immediately dispersed by the local armies before they can join forces.
I'd still bet on the next DLC being related to theologies and the like though. I can't imagine what else they could do.

Currently crusades are just joint wars where europeans flail around and die in the desert while muslim doomstacks pick them off.
Actual crusade mechanics would be nice.
Looks like Pilgrims heading somewhere.

So I'm guessing theocracies and papal stuff.

Since there is a cross, maybe they will let you play theocracies now?
Hasn't the logo always been like that?
this fucking expansion has me really confused.
867-1337
can't be colonization, maybe migration?
or just a general russian expansion?
I hope they never ever touch anything having to do with 867 again. That bookmark is so poorly done and has so little to do with the systems they've set up for the later period that I wish they never listened to everyone on the Paradox forum begging for it. So long as it maybe has to do with the colonization of German Pagan land, theocracies, or actually represents Crusades that would be fine.
Since there is a cross, maybe they will let you play theocracies now?
I sill can't see how playable theocracies could work out, it breaks away fron the general focus of the game.
