aadfafdds I keep getting wing overload crashes in the sabre and I keep losing too much speed where migs come down on me, I pull the stick too hard and I start stalling
I think I'll switch back to mouse controls for now, although it's entertaining to turnfight, at jet level battles it's too difficult since everyone is going at half the speed of sound
I think im done playing this game solo, i'm so fucking salty right now, was at 17k feet where literally the entire team but me drop for the b17s, leaving me to 1v3 bearcats, i can't out-dive them, they're heavier, retain energy better and surprisingly can keep up with a griffon spit in a turn.
I know american players were bad but i didnt realise raf players were just as much useless cunts.

After flying for 5 minutes it finally conked out just before landing.
It's really impressive you managed to land that however. I really aught to fly my low-tier stuff more.

Tier 1 and 2 are so much more playable than 3 and 4 from my experience. 2 is like the sweet spot in this game where planes are quick [i]and[/i] maneuverable to where strict fighting tactics (like are necessary in high-tier German planes for example) aren't so much of a concern, nobody has ion cannons or death rays, high-altitude isn't a thing unless the bombers decided they wanted a space program, and it's a lot harder to feel really devastated if you lose a plane since it's pennies to repair.
That said, you meet a lot more tomatoes at low levels than you do at higher ones even in Historical and Simulator (oh god Simulator biplane matches where half the team are first-timers who didn't know what sim was help me)

I didn't mean to imply arcade tanks is better, it's worse, but RB isn't a whole lot better either. SB tanks was closer to fun.
SB tanks is literally the only thing in the world that gives me motion sickness. Now that RB has a "tree check" that mostly breaks line of sight SB just seems less and less appealing with its stupidity camera.

Sim tanks is even more dead than realistic tanks though. And I was waiting 3+ minutes to get a match in tanks yesterday only for it to be a 5v5 where over half of both teams were planes.
Also the ZIS-30 is fucking hilarious. It can zip around everything and one shot stugs frontally.
I don't get how people used to whine about the MiG being "OP". The A-5 sabre absolutely wrecks the MiG.

I can't seem to every fight them in F-series Sabres (stock) because they're almost just as fast, but climb like hell and are only slightly less maneuverable. In the F9F it's not nearly as bad, and I assume the A-5 is a bit more nimble than chunkulus the F-86-30.
And if I manage to finally trump one, his buddy from low orbit or a CL-13A Sabre will just materialize on my ass to punish me. :v:
If Korea stopped giving the Soviets both Me 163s (why) and CL-13As, I'd probably play it more. Right now, Soviets got all ranges of planes, and Americans just get Sabres and Panthers with the occasional Meteor or Vampire for comedy value.

Oh, I definitely remember the FM/DM nerf. Even then, it still was not hard to beat MiGs. The MiG's guns have always been almost too shit to handle.

MiG and Sabre A-5 are about as good as eachother, though I'd argue the Sabre is a bit more straight forward to use.

Yeah, I would agree about this. The Sabre doesn't exactly dominate against better pilots, but it just [I]feels[/I] so much easier to use because of the armament.
