--J7W1 --partial CDK files
YES!!! Not confirmed but still, good news to my ears
YES!!! Not confirmed but still, good news to my ears
Partial CDK files could be a string or a loose folder. Those things you should get your hopes up for the least. It's why I removed all the premium Luftwaffe captures because they've had skins for years now. I myself have seen nothing for the N1K3 and expect basically nothing to come of it. :v:
I really doubt that all those vehicles will be released in one, same update.
Well this IS the first time we're being shown this stuff in such a quantity, with detailed visuals and not just saying "X is coming" before a patch so this patch will or will not build the expectancy that shit shown on the Dev blog should be expected in the next major update all at once. I mean scroll back on the dev blog pages and see HOW MUCH SHIT they've announced that looks more or less ready. this could by all rights be a FUCKMASSIVE content patch.
It's FUCKMASSIVE mostly due to a lot of tank additions. The patches before this all added quite a bit too, did they not? I still am not even fully sure they're ready for dev-server testing yet.
If they are gonna add all those things I sure except a lot of halfassed FMs and DMs
If they are gonna add all those things I sure except a lot of halfassed FMs and DMs
That's what Dev Server is for. You must've not been around with the update cycle a lot. FM and DMs are fluid anyways. They'll get changed in dev and in the first week or few after launch. Because we all know how well Herman the German Sherman sat with tanks players.

Early spitfires before like 1.25patch , two times when LA5FN was spammed, dora spam and all. Gaijin tends from time to time release a plane with silly FM.
I guess that explains why the Yak-9T wound up to be quite adequate at tank busting.
I decided to get a 9T recently for the purposes of RB tank-rape, and the governing factor in that decision was a single YouTube video: I had one game in it earlier today (Everything stock, so no AP belts in the cannon) and killed 3 StuG before getting insta-gibbed by AAA - felt like cheating.

How the hell do I chase down bombers in Heavy Fighters? I'm using the Nip ones right now but it seems they're always speeding away from me and outclimbing and if I do manage to stay on ones tail I get blasted to pieces by their tailgunners. pls help.

There's even less balance than anywhere else.
Playing all these low tier planes is absurd. It feels like cheating. RB doesn't even feel like the RB I'm use to at IV/V. It feels like nation-locked Arcade.

Also, shouldn't the F-82 have 25 rockets, not 10?
Lassar: It will have, I hope, and very soon
Maybe.. just maybe this means we can have the gunpod soon too. I'm trying not to hype, but it's happening anyways. He also confirmed looking into the SC 1800kg Satan and SC 2500kg German Bombs.
I've been playing on my LTE connection the last two days because our line is down, and this works surprisingly well, but browsing is horrible, and if I try to multitask while joining a session, War Thunder shits itself and boots me to the menu.

I've been able to play mostly well even with 15-20% packet loss before. But, occasionally, bad stuff happens.
What control scheme do you all use in RB? I lean towards Relative Mouse Joystick but I feel like I may be making a mistake.
What control scheme do you all use in RB? I lean towards Relative Mouse Joystick but I feel like I may be making a mistake.
Mouse Aim + Keyboard for sharp turns/loops. There isn't really any other way.
Matchmaking has officially given up on me. After flying my D-13 for a bit today I decided to play my A5/U2 for some lower level fun. I get put on a team of G-2's against an entire enemy team of P-51's and premium spits in the first match, and on a team of K-4's and D-9's against Tempests and Mosquitoes the next.
What control scheme do you all use in RB? I lean towards Relative Mouse Joystick but I feel like I may be making a mistake.
Mouse + Keyboard for overriding instructor. You may get slightly, slightly better plane performance out of a joystick, but you'll have a bitch of a time aiming against any other mouse dragger and it's not worth the tiny marginal min-maxing. If I could get IL-2 1946 to fly with a drag-by-wire approach like War Thunder, I'd probably play it a lot, lot more.
I laughed, really heartily, because of that

The main thing stopping me from flying stick is it means I can't alt-tab to message certain people who seem to think I've died if I don't respond in two minutes.

They probably could if it was any other game. They also love to stall out whereas the instructor basically won't let you. Stick in War Thunder doesn't even feel like an actual stick, it feels like "Instructor Lite" with how much it can bounce around on some planes. The stick does allow you to do a lot of nice things the mouse-instructor fights against, but in the end - the ease of use and aiming with mouse always outweighs a stick's benefits to me (in War Thunder.) I'd practice with my own stick more (har) if there wasn't the time involved in pulling it out, removing a vast amount of deskroom (stick + throttle combo), and if it was actually worth a damn in War Thunder RB. I thought mouse controls would be nice in 1946 because all I ever do is dick around solo against bots.
It's really important to communicate with the russians. Here we had a lovely chat, and I think we made a pretty good strategy for ourselves here.
I haven't been following this game too much recently, but why the fuck can't you use planes in tank simulator battles?
I haven't been following this game too much recently, but why the fuck can't you use planes in tank simulator battles?
Its a temporary thing evidently. They put out a news post about it the other day

So where is the Ho 229 supposed to be going on the tree?
So where is the Ho 229 supposed to be going on the tree?
Most fingers are pointing towards after the non-50mm 410s. Take it with a grain of salt, though.
So where is the Ho 229 supposed to be going on the tree?
I think it'll cap off the Zerstorer line, so it'll be after the B6/R3 Hornet.
Alright, guess I don't have to unlock anything then. (Unless they add more padding before it)
I'm never going to get jets because they keep adding more stuff I have to grind through.
