I also seem to be getting fewer frames than usual, in tanks mode specifically.
I love ramming Zis-30s in my bt-7, the crew just goes flying into the distance and then you get the kill credit.

grass always been off.
Most recent updates are changes to water rendering, shadows, and (I think) particles, so try fiddling with those settings.
If it's tanks well that's always been unoptimised.
