Yes, it was a bot. It happened again 20 minutes ago, a King Tiger bot drove into side of my JagdPanther and decided it's time to fly to mainland over the ocean.
I think it's the latent railroad nature of the bots who occasionally, when disturbed in their travels, realize their hampered potential and remember they can be anywhere they want to be in an instant.

Someone rips the wing off an enemy plane I was making a pass with, I accidently hit it with a single 20mm round. I steal the kill.
I remove the entire fucking tail section off an enemy plane, someone's tail gunner plinks it on the way down, I don't get the kill.

Call me spoiled, but I'm a little disappointed in the lack of Shinden.
What I [I]really[/I] don't want is for the Shinden to be a super-rare event plane like the Po-2 or the F5F. The only reason I even got the F5F was because of the retroactive "you only need to do 10 challenges."
Devs already confirmed that the Shinden will be a main tree plane. [I]Everything[/I] on the announced release trees will be a non-premium/event plane.

It was a Rank 0 plane back in the day that cost no money, didn't lead anywhere important, and was known for being shit.
It got a huge comeback when they removed it, because now people can't hop on the OP-2 whenever they want.
