If you want to put 40 to 70 hours in for a $9 plane. Be my guest. The tanks only took like 2-3 hours each, tops. I'm waiting until 1.43 before I put any more money or serious time into this game.

I do like having better killing power with the 85mm gun on the T-34-85 but mother of GOD do the ballistics suck ass compared to the 57mm

I don't understand the lashout people are having. Sure, I hoped to get a free jellywelly, but who cares, if they don't feel like giving us free premium planes, I won't flip my shit over it. Their only mistake was to hype this up in advance so people already expected to get all them premiums and now they are disappointed. They should have dropped the event without previous notice and it would have been okay. Some damn gamer entitlement going on there, how DARE they make the missions for free shit hard and only for really insane people!

So after putting off playing the soviet line as long as possible for reasons of HONOR and CHIVALRY, I finally tried it out today. After grinding the japanese deck for a short while, all I can really say now is [B][U]XAAAAAAXAXAXAXAXAXAXAXAXAXAXAXAXAXA [/U][/B][U][B]I ДM ЬЗCФMЭ DЗДTH[/B][/U].

Soviet planes aren't particularly overpowered at any rank, the playstyle they come with just has relatively low skill floor requirement and is most natural and comfortable to most people.

To me, American planes are so much easier to aim. The yak9 and the ducks turn too fast for me to score any good hits.

It just so happens that War Thunder favors the type of environment that Soviet planes thrive in. Low altitude, turn-and-burn, close-quarters combat. This isn't to say that the devs purposely made it easy to play Soviet planes, but rather that it's just easier to keep a Soviet plane in the environment in which it best performs. BnZ'ing in a German or American plane takes patience and self-control, maintaining speed in a British plane is definitely not an easy thing to remember to do, but keeping a Soviet plane under 3 km altitude really isn't much of a struggle at all.

Not like the planes these are on are slower and climb worse than the opponents or anything.

I know bombing is supposed to be done from on high with big bombs but going down to 100m with 12 x 60kg and hitting long lines of cars is too much fun

I thought by 125 victories they meant 125 kills, I became disappointed when I figured the truth, still going to try and get the jellywelly (try in the loosest sense of the word)
