I have only ended up on Spain in low tier aircraft and it's the worst shit ever. A good 15 minutes flying minimum before you see anyone.
I've been in a TB-3 on Spain or whatever that fuckhuge 22km to the nearest target map is in RB's rotation. Fuck that map. [sp]It mighta not been a TB-3, but I remember it being something slow as shit, and I went to get a soda and watch a youtube video, and I still was 7km out from the nearest ground targets.[/sp]
New fuckhueg map [In Development] Norway [img_thumb]http://devblog.warthunder.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/norway_128x128km_shot04.jpg[/img_thumb]
Now 10x as hard to find that last shitty AI plane that's derping about somewhere.
Oh boy I love playing on fuckhuge maps with my Ki-200's 4 minutes of thrust.
Now 10x as hard to find that last shitty AI plane that's derping about somewhere.
Lone bots no longer prevent at least RB matches from ending after like 20 or so minutes into the game.
Oh boy I love playing on fuckhuge maps with my Ki-200's 4 minutes of thrust.
Norway campaign was largly RAF vs Luftwaffe.
Oh boy I love playing on fuckhuge maps with my Ki-200's 4 minutes of thrust.
I played Spain yesterday, jesus that was a surprisingly large godamn map.
Sneaky Krauts had a spy in my last CARB match! [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/24075839/warthunder/images/imposter.jpg[/t] Cheeky gits.
Made an Estonian Air Force skin for Spitfire Mk Vb/Trop [thumb]http://live.warthunder.com/uploads/ugc/9d92fec71e382b5c445bc7705463a84d8c82d486.png[/thumb]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGFrlxQwKcY Has anybody seen this video? The TLDR is esentially, you can make planes models/skins, and they can get put in the game, and you'll get a cut of the dough. Pretty much just like in tf2!
Okay, PBJ-1H confirmed to be the best plane. Killed 3enemies with the 75mm and the fiddies and 3more with the turrets I'll post the replay at some point too about the kills What programn should i use to cut the best parts of the replay?
What programn should i use to cut the best parts of the replay?
If you're poor like me, then VirtualDub works pretty well for (basic) editing and processing. [editline]a[/editline] Oh and something like XMediaRecode to make the resulting .avi into a .webm if you're that way inclined.
The Ki-200 would be so much better if they just added some tiny wheels on the tip of the wings. Nothing's worse than landing perfectly, only to fall over once you come to a stop and lose you wing instantly in a fiery explosion.
I killed NINE tanks in CARB in my JagdPanther; they were admittedly mostly T-44s but that's still taking 4.5 players out of the match tank wise. We lost by a landslide. Fucking shit teams. I am having WoT flashbacks. Have a new hanger that they have instead: [t]http://i.imgur.com/SuBwUwC.jpg[/t]
Made an Estonian Air Force skin for Spitfire Mk Vb/Trop
That's really pretty. I downloaded it, nice work Drag. I'll probably be using it. :v:
Ferdinand get I am so happy to have another German trashcan design I am not even sure why I put it into a slot
New gun sounds added in 1.42 Dev Yes. Yes, this does expand dong. ShVAKs sound like pissed off helicopters now.
oh SHIT Shvakchoppers incoming
I hope they update the Japanese gun sounds too. Right now there's nothing more unsatisfying than firing the 7.7s on a Reisen.
Sky is for heroes is up again, but only for ranks 2 and 3.

Does the search function on warthunder live just literally not work? Searched bf109, bf 109, and bf-109 and get no results at all.

There needs to be different sound between firing 1 M2, 4 M2s, and then one set of 4 M2s and two sets of 2 M2s firing when those sets aren't synchronized with eachother.

Which really frustrates me, because a Peashooter's single M2 should not sound like the P-47's rack of eight. I did a really hacky, shitty edit of the new gun sounds and stacked them on top of each other. While it's not that great, I feel like with proper filtering, sounds, and audio magic in-game, it could work quite well. It's far better than having a single damn sound stream for guns which is extremely disorienting in the A-20G and B-25 for when your turrets activate while you're firing your pilot guns. :v:
The single M2 is firing too fast, here is what it should sound like:
The issue here is, and I'm not enough of a HMG nut to say, but I believe that's an M2HB. Those have an EXTREMELY low rate of fire compared to the aircraft versions.
485–635 rounds/min (M2HB) 750–850 rounds/min (AN/M2) 1,200 rounds/min (AN/M3)
Those have an EXTREMELY low rate of fire compared to the aircraft versions.
The ground versions are generally all M2HBs, but I'm pretty sure that AN/M2s weren't present in all of our combat aircraft. I'm not sure what aircraft though, because their armament is generally always referred to as .50 M2 Brownings or .50 M3 Brownings, but not AN/M2s. Edit: "The official designation for this weapon (AN/M2) was Browning Machine Gun, Aircraft, Cal. .50, M2 " Which is basically what I see in most aircraft armament descriptions. The M2 was standardized in 1933, and the M2HB was only standardized in 1938 however, so I would assume AN/M2s followed shortly thereafter.
AN/M2s weren't present in all of our combat aircraft.
I'm almost certain the AN/M2 was the standard .50 cal aircraft machine gun for the US Army/Navy since at least 1938 or so. Aircraft favor high rates of fire and the least weight from equipment possible. I'm uploading two mock-examples from in-game footage with a little audio editing. I might make a suggestion on the forums. :v:
