My favorite kill has to be when I took a diving B-25 head-on in a P-40, killed everyone in the cockpit, pulled a barrel roll and avoided the incoming wreck by a few inches.
I honestly don't understand how AB tanks is fun for anybody... yet it has 3-5 times the number of players compared to realistic, not to mention sim. I had to try it since realistic wouldn't give me a match after 10 min.

This 2x RP thing is pretty great, I think by the time it's over my precious soviet-25 will have unlocked every USSR plane from Era I-IV. I could be throwing all of that RP into the first MiG-9, but honestly I'm not that into jets. I'll get there eventually thanks to my talismaned Tu-2.

I like AB because it's like a shooting gallery, especially in low tiers. Most players are so incompetent that you can rack up 15+ kills in a single life easily.
It's like being Rambo, mowing down swarms of hapless goons.

No idea what the proportions are exactly, but I'm kinda crap at RB and I still earn more in 'meh' RB games than 'good' AB games, so it must be pretty high.

The game treats 1 air kill in RB as 3 in AB.
Realistically, getting one kill in RB secures you the spot of [I]"I'm not a cum gargling potato monkey and I have benefited my team in some fashion."[/I] By the time you get two or more, you've entered carrying status. :v:

It effectively 200% and 150%'s your RP and Silver (maybe it's the other way around) ensuring that you're getting in a lot more grinding and money. If you're not retarded, it makes almost every match where you didn't die on take-off profitable, even up in the jet tiers. There's also the four decal slots, which is extremely important:

I want the voices from IL-2: 1946 in game. It's not the same flying a german plane without [I][B][U]HILLLLLFEEEEEEEEEE[/U][/B][/I]
War Thunder would do really well with letting people do sound mods, but the developers are a tad touchy about it.
I know it uses FMOD, so I'm sure some wizard could rig the same shit that they use to mod World of Tanks in this, but I wouldn't even know where to start.
I don't trust the in-game radio feature, a few people are saying it likes to abruptly stop or even crash the game.
I swear it's impossible to win a game in any of the Mustangs
