Can someone explain to me how you kill a panther from the front? Regardless of what tank/ammunition I use I seem to never penetrate it even where the + is green.

Lower front plate preferably, lower mantlet (for shot trap action) if you cant hit anything else
if he is hiding his LFP and you dont have a gun that can reliably pen his glacis plate, you pretty much need to close to close range to get your pen up, or flank him to hit his squishy sides.

That's what I thought, but regardless I seem to always bounce. I figured there was some stupid spot that was stupid easy to penetrate as even when I am hull down in my panther people seem to easily take me out.

No idea if I'm reading it correctly, but [I]I think[/I] you can do it with just 30 victories in 3rd or above, but you have to do 10 in era 2/3/4.

Completing any one of those gives you a chance of the vehicle. I might go try my gamble luck on the Mustang now. :v:

10 Victories per Rank II/III/IV with at least 3rd place, each individual set gives you a random chance at getting the vehicle. You don't have to do 40 1st place victories is the only guaranteed way, though.

Found my club plane of choice to get the Mustang. Boomerang Mk1 still kicks ass in RB.

I couldn't give a flying piss about the rewards or the event. I would just like to play the game normally, but nope. There are enough bombers usually in WT, but with events like this there are ONLY bombers.
Well, at least spamming YAK-9t and YAK-9k could be at least fun.

Anything with lots of ammo works well in RB. If a victory is imminent, you can just absorb all the soft targets for mad RP.

Nevermind, four matches in reconfirmed that this isn't worth my time since I have so little influence over the outcome. Give me more kills missions, these are just frustrating.
2 days ago I had 20 wins in a row while being first place nearly every round. Since this event started I've been doing nothing but losing and being nowhere near the top.
I hate special events.
Events where you have to win are terrible because it's completely out of your control. Yeah okay I've had those ground battle games where I have 3/4ths of my teams kills and I manage to stay on point the whole time but I have way more where people on my team simply aren't playing the objective.
If I'm unlocking a tank for me I want it to be something I can impact a little bit more than matchmaking dice rolls for whether or not I get the dumbass team.
