So, I'm getting set to unlock my first jet, the MiG-9. Is it really as bad as people say? From the test flying I've been doing, it seems like it's great at retaining energy and has decent armament.
played my first match in the tu-2s. was pretty okay. Got 8 ground kills and an air kill. Air kill was after my entire team died only killing one of the enemy planes in the process. I somehow chopped off an N1K's wing, but he fucked me up good so I was flying sideways and the next n1k I couldn't hit because my gunner couldn't turn enough sideways even though he was technically behind me.

The migs have poor guns for fighting other jets, you don't need a lot of punch to take a jet down so the lack of ammunition and low rate of fire put you at a disadvantage.
Buy MiG-9 for 550K Lions.
Get achievement for getting first jet, reward 500K Lions.

I suppose. The 23mms seem fine if you use your ammo sparingly though, I just killed a Meteor F.4 my first jet match by wrecking his tail. Only took a few rounds.

That was entirely your fault. Dont just spray your guns at 800 meters out and dont approach a B-25 from the ass. B-25's have a massive blindspot underneath them. Abuse it. You also shouldn't be spraying your 37mm like that. All it takes is two or three hits at most to take out a B-25. Provided you hit it.

I had a dream of a gamemode that could work. Basicly, US VS Japan. It would be set in well, [B][I][U]Nagasaki[/U][/I][/B]. US spawns on the B29, (but alittle bit back), Japan spawns front of then its city. US stop spawning on the B25 and outside the city when it gets to the outskirts. When it goes right over the city, it drops the Fat man nuke.
You may say, that bombers have no use, but what would happen is there would be bases, and destorying these bases would cause team X to spawn thurther away.
Pretty much, US defend and japan attacks.
It should take the B29 around 4-5 mins to get near the city, and another min to drop the nuke.
Why B-25? Fat man was dropped off a B-29.

I had to do two of the Hunters Luck missions, first did Rank 2 one, didn't get it, then did Rank 4 one, and got it :dance:
Oh man. Just met an absolute cunt in a Meteor.
I shot off a Mig's wing in my Ki-200, and this fucker just swoops in last second, and steals the kill.
Then I shoot a Tu-2's ailerons to hell and he's going down, when this fucker just dives onto him and takes the kill again.
Without any fuel left I try to land at the middle airfield in Korea, so I wouldn't have to repair, and when I finally come to a stop, my plane starts spazzing like usual. Starts tilting left and right, until one wing hits the ground. Then the wing explodes and it flips.
Ki-200's so fun to fly, but when you have to do anything other than flying, it's a nightmare.

Crashed into the ground while going about 150 km/h. Both wingtips hit the ground pretty hard but still survived. When I finally came to a stop, one slowly hit the ground and exploded.

Got more points than your entire team combined? Too bad, after you died while single-handedly holding the point, your entire team decided to jerk off on top of a hill trying to emulate Sniper Elite while the enemy slowly won by ticket-drain.

That's exactly how the Comet behaves, and honestly any plane you touch the ground with wings in.
They promised one of the following updates will try to work on collisions and physics of it.
