Would destroy USA pre-1943, equal to Russia from 1941 onwards, would spend all game being behind GB + Ger.
It seems like a stupid system to me to combine historical ranking and battle ranking, because since BR autoadjusts based on how planes are playing, you'll just see anything doing well given an absolutely ridiculous battle ranking, like what happened to the German jets.
Just got the tempest V, I know it stock but god, the climb rate is horrible and that BR
The devs "react" to the ramming of B-17s and stuff.
We understand some of you have found the need to cause disruption in game to voice a protest, this will not work. Be assured, any more friendly ramming, team killing or any other disruption exhibited, reported and seen in game, will be severely dealt with. The game is not complete and as such cannot be rail-roaded at the expense of normal players. Also be aware, when this particular fad wears off, you may find your original game name has been used by another player and we have no control to get it back for you.
You have been warned.

To be fair team ramming is a hugely dick move and I can understand losing your account over it.
If they did it for ramming enemies though gaijin can fuck right off.

Looks like this will only affect team ramming, because there are a lot of ways for two enemies to ram into each other.

Is there any official description of how to interpret the values for fuse delay and sensitivity? Though fuse delay seems pretty obvious.
Has anyone been getting games in realistic tank battles where there are only 2 people on each team? Most of my matches have been looking like this:

Hopefully this doesn't screw over people who ram accidentally during a hectic furball
I sure as hell don't want to get banned for accidentally bumping into some kid who then lashes out and accuses me of purposely ramming to steal their kill

No, this is only referring to people ramming friendly b17 players in Simulation Battles.
Anyone up for some tanks or dog fights around tier 1?
I just looked at this link (http://warthunder.com/en/news/793-Historical-The-North-Korean-Air-Force-en) and decided to try and match up the DPRK statement about the losses they caused in the Korean War, and my god I can't believe that Gaijin actually put that quote in their article. Matching it up with all the estimates from Wikipedia and the ones from a book I have: the full battle toll of complete military losses on both sides comes out to about 1.2 M casualties, including MIA. And then the DPRK claims they killed and captured 1.5 M troops, when the total allied POW count doesn't even come to 30,000.
I'm not even going to bother checking their claimed equipment and vehicle counts with how many were actually destroyed because this is just insane. Come on Gaijin, at least fact check these articles a bit better.
EDIT: Just decided to check out civillian losses and they actually could have gotten that number if they included them. Granted, equipment and vehicle counts are still bloated but that's just sick if they counted civilians as military kills.
Is there any official description of how to interpret the values for fuse delay and sensitivity? Though fuse delay seems pretty obvious.
I think it means the fuse gets set off after the shell penetrates 15% of it's remaining penetrative potential. That would mean something like 35mm of armor at point blank.
That or just 15mm of armor but I think I remember them saying it depends on the remaining energy like that.
And the delay means the shell will travel for 1.5 meters after the fuse gets triggered and then explodes.

Literally every game at every rank is like this for me in tanks. Sometimes there are three players a team, but rarely.
Get full games all the time in realistic planes, by comparison.

This right here is the reason I don't play WT anymore. I want to play tanks so bad, but I just can't stand arcade. I would love to play sim all the time, but it's always empty.
Also let me point out C-3 Arado will be some completely hot shit. Guns, and 4 engines on a jet. i honestly can't wait for it.

It will be out turned by a battleship. Venom is the jet of 1.43 to get hype for, hydraulically boosted rudders fuck yes

I'd just like to be able to use my million convertible RP instead of having to pay all of my money.
Oh yeah also is there any news on the squadron tag issue?
Apparently tail control is completely optional in the f9f-2, managed to stay in the air for 20 minutes using flaps and rolls. Scored hits in 3 headon passes, then proceeded to circle the map while my team hunted the last mig.

Ramming enemies is a OK imho. Usually if I'm a fighter and am crippled/out of fuel or something similar, instead of just dying normally i'll fly in to a b12 or something.
Why do people get so upset about "Kill Stealing"? I see folks acting like it was a personal attack, when in truth, it was nothing close to the sort. Most people 'tunnel-vision' in on their enemy. Psychologically they're just looking and chasing for a red color and a grey blob (the bigger, the more attractive). They're not trying to steal or take from anyone.
I got blown away by some Kid a week or so ago because he said I was trying to "Kill Steal him". He just lined up behind me and unloaded with 20mm. I called him a Cheesy Twat; we were ~1.2km away from the twin engine bomber, which was already on fire and losing altitude. Neither of us were going to make it for any points. So he attacks me, which actually COST him points and hurt the team.
People get so hostile if they fear they won't get the "Aircraft Destroyed" message. They don't seem to understand the concept that, if you did 90% of the damage, you got 90% (okay, maybe 70%) of the credit. Not to mention the game is NOT Free For All, but a Team-based mode.
People need to chill out sometimes, lol.
the thing is, that you don't get 90% of the credit you do 90% of the damage. Instead, you get maybe 20% for having done any damage, and then some other guy gets 5x that for having managed to snipe the last few shots
with fighters, yea, it's kind of silly sometimes, but with bombers I find a lot it's just really unfun when you spend a good while methodically taking out engines and parts from behind and then some fuckhead with his yak-9 or his 30mm FW zooms in while the thing is falling to earth and gets the kill

On the flipside, it's really annoying when you've been dogging a guy for a few minutes and a Spitfire swoops in, puts two hits on target, and gets the credit. I don't agree with teamkilling for it, but I do try not to shoot at someone who's clearly gonna die anyways.
I went to the Battleship New Jersey last Sunday with my gf for her birthday (also went to the aquarium but it was shite so yeah)
mfw when I see a fucking b17
yes a b17
flying over.
I shed the most patriotic tear in American history.
