Ground. AP has no real benefits currently in the game. And even if it did, it would only be marginally better for pillboxes (not modeled) and ships (maybe modeled?)
Considering destroyers already pop with one good 250kg, it's not worth it.

I only play arcade and don't get all the bash it gets. It's just simply funnier for me. Lots of planes, lots of action and faster gameplay. Sure it's not that realistic, but I don't care as long as it's fun.
I'm still amazed by people who don't get opinions.

As someone who plays AB pretty much exclusively, I agree with you 100%. My problem with RB is, quite simply, that I'm utter shit at it. Aside from that, it's much more intense and team-oriented, not to mention realistic. I play occasionally when I have a squad with me and I usually stick to low-tier planes.
Actually, if anybody else has the XP-55, I'd be up for squadding up later and taking a bunch of them into RB. For some reason everybody I've ever fought in RB with the P-55 gets super salty when they see it.

My opinion is that Arcade deserves blatant bashing!
The thing is Arcade becomes next to impossible at era 4 and into era 5 only doubly so. I played it loooong ago in eras 1 and 2 and had loads of fun, but it's not feasible with the higher tier things.

Arcade is exactly as it says on the tin.
A mindless mode that teaches you all the improper skills in literally any flight sim. It's fun for what it is, but please recognize that it's so pathetically point/drag/click that I use to play it with Netflix going on a second monitor and still wound up as #1 in my team most of the time. You need to get out of that mode ASAP. If you're still playing it at Rank IV, there's a gross logic error somewhere.

Realistic is not for everyone. I don't particularly enjoy the 5 minutes climb with every single realistic match.

As a mainly AB player, I went into an RB match by accident on my Spit LF Mk.IX and came out with a Ta-152, 109 K-4 , and a Do-217M killed without going over 2K meters. All I had to do was let the fighters bounce me from behind, and I got them in their climb back up and I just had to head-on the Do to kill the pilots. You really don't have to climb all that much unless you are fighting Russians.

Really? I've found that no matter what plane I'm flying I can't seem to climb high enough to avoid ending up underneath 2 or 3 enemies.

There wont be a new one, the only issue is what the name will be changed to. If the FAP clan doesn't get away with it's name, neither do we, in which case we will hopefully go with IFLAP.

the name is getting changed to IFLAP (Intl Facepunch Land Air Patrol) whenever orson decides to read my PM, he's online so it might already be changed i dunno

Right, I forgot the only reason a whole new squadron was considered was because of inactive mods.
It's now gone 8 hours without premium after a several month long streak, the long-forgotten feeling of fighting the game itself has once again set in.
I think I've managed more progress in the last week or so of prem time than I have in 6 months.

Holy crap, I ground all the RP for the Spit 16 today. I never ever want to see Hokkaido again.
On the plus side I finally have a non-premium rank 4 plane after a year or more.
