gave the gunners a proper test
They shot down 4 FW190s while I was just flying straight.
even while in a death spiral the maxed out gunners can crit fighter planes.
You can tell you were fighting tooth and nail to regain it

Eh? Whoever was piloting it yawed left into the turn after that initial straight up/down thing ended. It seemed like he was trying to keep it going to me. A little bit later he starts to yaw right, but by that time I think it was a bit to late (His plane starts to nose up again)
Funny as hell though.

I basically lost all control after getting rammed and taking that rocket to the tail made it even worse, but apparently other people have gotten the same issue with the b-25, and if you set your flaps to landing mode you can keep on spinning in circles hovering FOREVER.

who needs AA when you have a 57mm T-34
so I just watched a film called The Eternal Zero
the pilot pulls off a maneuver where he pulls his rudder to one side to make it appear he's flying in a certain direction but instead he's Tokio Drifting and makes the enemy overshoot
what was this maneuver called? I remember seeing something similar in History Channel(lol)'s Dogfight regarding the P-47. I'm actually curious and I want to try it in HB

Another episode of Dogfight features that move being done by a Dauntless while fighting 3 Zeros.
Ive done that during head-on fights and it works EXTREMELY well
a couple people have done it to me as well and it makes it extremely difficult to lead them effectively

?
Thinking of buying a fighter for the Russians.
P-39 or P-63?
Thinking of buying a fighter for the Russians.

IIRC they both have like the same BR (lolwut) but the P-63 is straight up better, so go with that.

Talisman on La-5FN if you're grinding. P-39 for fun factor (though SU version is best). Kingcobra is for bads.
Kingcobra is for bads.
say what? Kingcobras are pretty under-tiered.. 3.3 battlerating in RB I believe.

thats the point. Only baddies play it since it's overperforming like a motherfucker.

This ACTUALLY manages to be creepy.
I'm impressed.
How do I get someone off my tail?
How do I get someone off my tail?
AB: Nope lol
RB/SB: Depends heavily on the plane
AB: Nope lol

Actually for AB you could just be Japan, the only thing that can counter a Reisen's turning is another Reisen.
Can someone who DLed the dev server test how long the RATO boosters on the Shitsuka last?
How do I get someone off my tail?
climb at the start of the match so you don't get someone on your tail to begin with.
or run towards team mates.
play in a squad
What would you guys say are the best ammunition loads for doing damage to enemy fighters and bombers?
I've been using tracers but I've heard ground targets is pretty good because of the high amount of explosives
[editline]27th September 2014[/editline]
also 30mm or 37mm on the HS-129B2?
also 30mm or 37mm on the HS-129B2?
I seem to remember vehemently advocating the the use of the 30mm over the 37mm to a friend a while ago.
It's been a while since I last played it, but I believe the 30mm can take out everything the 37mm can and it's got a lot more ammunition to do it with - that is to say that both guns can deal with light pillboxes and medium tanks (I'm not sure if either can deal with heavies (honestly can't even recall if I've had to shoot at heavies with it before, so maybe they can both do that too)).
