You're ignoring our point though. With the M3, you spend less time on target to get a kill. That means that deflecting passes are more effective, and you don't have to chase someone for longer and lay into them for 10 seconds non stop to kill them.
The less time you spend on a target is better. Higher ROF=less time on target=better.
tl;dr=quit missing and get gud
You are missing the point that the M2s kill so quick it isn't an issue to begin with. If anything if you can't aim you should use the M3s as you're spamming more rounds at the enemy so you're less likely to miss.
There's also no point in the game where M2 armed and M3 armed planes are at the same rank as an alternative to eachother anyway. Maybe P-51 and Bearcat but the P-51 has more guns with more rounds per gun.
my favourite browning is the AN/M3 American hispano clone

Aren't they changing the F8F-1 to have M2s next patch anyway?

Then you realize that American 20mms (Hispanos), British 20mms (Hispanos) German 20mm MG/FF, and the Japanese Type 99-1 and 99-2 were all Oerlikon FF derivatives.
20mm <3

I prefer how like 3/4 of the Japanese guns, from the 7.7mm to the 30mm, are upscaled M1 browning.

Not exactly, there were different machineguns used across the IJN, IJA and differed between ground forces and aviation units with different guns sharing the same name.
There were a number of machineguns and cannons based off the Browning design (HO103/104), but also the MG15 and MG 131,151, as well as Vickers and Hotchkiss designs.
Japan was a logistical clusterfuck.
Japan was kinda technologically behind everyone else in terms of aircraft (low HP engines, mostly) but the designs themselves are so solid and clean that they could close the performance gap pretty easily.
Anyway, stuff:

Well, sounds like the MK-108 is now officially the quietest gun in the German arsenal. I hope they at least up the volume because when firing the new MG-131s you can't even hear the cannon.

MK-108 is also by the far the most useless.

With the 8x HVAR 2x Tiny Tim (which is the heaviest payload btw) it can't take off :v:

No RATO?
I don't think RATO made it into this patch.
HO 229 confirmed for worst cockpit ever.
German Engineers: Hey lets put a structural brace right through the cockpit and right in front of the pilot's head! Pilots don't need to see straight ahead...
Also, this thing has got to be the worst preforming jet, it can't even climb without choking and even at full power, you don't accelerate much.
F7F seems like an ok plane, has poor climbrate though, took forever to reach 25,000 ft.

Wow, thats 100km/h difference, its doing 270 km/h at the end of the runway in 1.41.30 and 370 by the same point in 1.43.6.8

RMB is track target right? Put that shit on F or something. You don't need it that much.
I use:
LMB: Cannons
RMB: Machine Guns
MMB: Select Target (at Crosshair)
M4: Additional Guns (Gunpods)
M5: Strange Jazz Cannons

I have MGs on lmb, cannon on rmb, additional guns on 4 and strange jazz guns on 5.

I have LMB set to cannons+MG, and RMB to just MG's. then I've got the forward button on my mouse set to track target, and back set to select new target.
I've had my m4 and m5 buttons mapped to bombs and rockets for a while now.

I use MGs on LMB, cannons + additional guns on RMB, and Strange Jazz Cannons and zoom on the thumb mouse buttons.
