Afk being the key part of that. Climb rate plummets if you hit 270. Ki-84 has to drop angles very sharply quite often and you can lose a fuckload of altitude because of that. Do you use its air start to zoom climb or do you just pitch up straight away?

Better roll rate, turning circle (both horizontal and looping), energy retention, acceleration, much better at low alt.
Worse dive speed. Less firing time total.

Bad guns doesn't mean you can't get behind someone or evade them. And if you can't kill someone with 300 cannon shells maybe you aren't good at shooting who knows
Just unlocked me410 b6. It's the fuckin shit. In one match i killed 5 b17s (but the fifth one set me on fire so i died too).

That's my problem though. I have to use 300 "cannon" shells to take down one plane. "Hit, hit, hit, *no crit*, hit, spark, spark, spark, spark, hit, hit, *still nothing critical*, spark, spark, spark. Shit i'm out of ammo/i'm on fire and this b25/b17 is still flying."
Usually aiming for the wing - fuselage connection does the job of wrecking a bomber.

a B17 Im not surprised really because every 20mm (unless it has minengeshoss) has trouble with those

Yeah that's, like, the absolute worst place to shoot because all you'll do is maybe kill the tail gunner.
Aim for the wing root or the engines. Or the pilot if you like high-risk gambling.

Don't shoot from behind. Dive on from above so you get the entire top of their plane to shoot at, it's a bigger target.

I think it is but it's just really hard to tell what's doing the exploding part.
According to the devs the explosions are fuel tanks, and that they've never seen any evidence that bombs should blow up from being shot so they're not putting it in for now.

your issue is that you're trying to kill a B-17 in a fighter that doesn't have a 30mm cannon in it. B-17 flight models are completely broken. Its no surprise you can't kill one when you aren't running a 30mm.
As for the B-25, maybe you just suck.
