Talisman on su100 is literally third the price of an su122p giving it the same research speed. The gun on su100 does everything the one on 122p does, and better. I would me maybe more sympathetic about silver lion gain if I wasn't sitting on almost 5M and had no use for them.
You're daft. 1) The SU-100 is a regular tier vehicle. You have to actually unlock it to use it first which means unlocking just about every tank before it for soviets 2) The SU-100's penetration is worse than the SU-122P's until you spend 36,800RP to get to the 3rd tier ammunition. Even its 2nd tier ammo is worse than the SU-122P's Also NO a talisman on the SU-100 does not give the same. Talismans only offer an additional 100% RP bonus, and the SU-100's base RP bonus is 78%. That means with a talisman you're only getting 178% RP. 278% if you have premium. VS an SU-122P's 256/356 w/wo premium.
they need to do something about these fucking bots they either don't do anything and drive like cattle to the slaughter, ignoring even point blank targets, or the lot 6 of them all fire at the exact same target, rain, sleet, or shine, through rocks, through hills, over hills, out of LOS, and again and again, round after round, until their target eventually dies. [editline]20th May 2014[/editline] Karelia is a PRIME example of how to NOT make a map. Holy shit.
Bots just stand there. Shooting at the ground. Great gameplay mechanic.
Any time I get Karelia I'm just leaving the match, why the fuck would anybody want to play in a shitty arena map for simulator. It's too bad that gaijin doesn't play Kursk more, it's like they realized they made a map that wasn't completely awful and decided that wasn't what they were aiming for.
The worst I've seen so far is the AI bot's shooting at me to hit something else.. amazing.

well shit
well shit
Enjoy 3 minutes of repair time.
Enjoy 3 minutes of repair time.
This shit. There should be some sort of logical cap. Disabling a tank completely for even 2 minutes if a terrible gameplay decision.
well this just in, realistic mode p-51 battles are still 0 fun
This shit. There should be some sort of logical cap. Disabling a tank completely for even 2 minutes if a terrible gameplay decision.
loader gets knocked out, 8 minute repair time so much fun
This shit. There should be some sort of logical cap. Disabling a tank completely for even 2 minutes if a terrible gameplay decision.
For a broken turret traverse and track on the T-28 my repair time was 6 minutes, with all my crew having about 30 points into field repair.
Worst I've seen was a Pz38(t) bot pushing over my truck :saddowns:
Does anybody know what the difference is between the D, A, and G variants of the Panther [editline]20th May 2014[/editline] All I'm seeing is that the A and G get APCR
well this just in, realistic mode p-51 battles are still 0 fun
especially if you use mouse controls. For whatever reason, the instructor just kicks the rudder non stop during tight turns.
For a broken turret traverse and track on the T-28 my repair time was 6 minutes, with all my crew having about 30 points into field repair.
My engine in my SU-85 got blown out once, 98 minute repair. not even fucking kidding.
My engine in my SU-85 got blown out once, 98 minute repair. not even fucking kidding.
no see thats just the game being so realistic and immersive that they want you to wait the amount of time that it would actually have taken the crew to repair the engine
I just got into German tree (from maining Japanese tree) and needless to say, their fighters accelerate really fast I like this because I boom and zoom into an arcade furball, pick up a kill or two, and then bait out a couple of greedy fighters into our friendly lines and watch them get mercilessly destroyed by friendlies I can't seem to go back into Japanese tree except in realistic because it feels lacklustre in every way except in 1v1 turnfighting

Hull front, lower: 60 mm at 35°; upper: 80 mm at 35° Hull side, lower: 40 mm at 90°; upper: 40 mm at 50°; Ausf. G: 50 mm at 60° Hull rear: 40 mm at 60° Turret front: 80 mm at 78°; Ausf. A: 110 mm at 78°; Ausf. G: 100 mm at 80° Turret side: 45 mm at 65° Turret rear: 45 mm at 65° Turret, top: 16 mm at 5°; Ausf. G: 30 mm at 5° Gun mantlet: 100 mm rounded
From a non-gameplay perspective, the Panther Ausf. D has an early commander's cupola and no hull MG.
Ausf D does have a hull MG, but it is a "letterbox" opening and not a ball mount, and is concealed when not open. Seen open here:
It's slightly frustrating that, at least in SB, the German Pz IV F2 variant is better than the T-34 1941 in every way and it's pretty much the only tank the German teams seem to have, but on the other hand it's pretty fun outplaying them and getting 5+ kills every match. If you get a shot right below their turret on the side it's almost 100% a 1 hit KO by exploding the ammo.
So War Thunder has only just suddenly decided that it doesn't like my internet provider. That's it. It doesn't like it. That's the only plausible reason. It has an opinion and it is negative. I'm done trying to rationalize computer issues. They are never fucking rational. "lost connection to game server!", as i already connected to their game server to log in and to get my hangar stats, every time i get a match made. it doesn't even try to leave the hangar, it just quits before the loading screen with some useless error report.
The F2 seems to be like the only capable tank in its tier. It's a godsend after the rape of Tier I.

For fuck sake....I actually got killed by an friendly bot as I was passing by while he was shooting at the ground right outside the spawn Might as well remove them completely, they are a hindrance more than help
I think the bots are hilarious. Ghastly barges with hostage crews who are there only to die and serve no purpose but fuel the machine with their suffering. You can even destroy the tracks of these tanks and they will continue sliding about, propelled by invisible satanic force.
I just won a air arcade match because the hostile team lost all of it vehicles, that never happened to me before heh
If you pay attention to where your bots are firing you can guess where the enemy is even through hills and walls. Another fun fact you can shoot through bunkers/buildings.
