The B-57/Canberra aren't even bad. They're extremely agile and outrun every single plane they're put up against so you can do some pretty good precision bombing if you're sneaky about it. Infinitely better bombloads than the IL-28 too.

The plane itself isn't bad at all, but it just isn't fun to play. Once you drop your bombload you might as well just hold J and wait for your crew timer to wind down. You can go land at an airfield and get more bombs but you'll only get shot to shit.
I'm absolutely OK with the aircrafts fragility; but I just wish it had some defensive armament to play with.

I guess it's theoretically supposed to encourage team play but it doesnt do much in reality. You do get bonuses for working together tho.
There's a lot of dumb bonuses for as little as killing people in general area the other squadmates are in and it would be kind of unfair if the income was exclusive to people who squad up when lot of the "rewards" are actually pretty effortless.
The chances of getting "The best squad" when playing with friends has gone from 98% down to 90%.
losing because your luck is shit and constantly being put up with shit head team-mates is the single most frustrating thing ever

given the stupidity of the vast majority of players in this game I would rather them be in bombers where they can A: at least do objectives (and maybe get a kill or two) and B: act as huge juicy bait for enemy fighters
