P39N has given me faith in America after the meh that was the kittyhawk. The simple upgrade from 20mm to 37mm cannon is awesome and has resulted in great fun.

In one match, I boom and zoomed a PBY cutting his tail clean off, rose back up to altitude only to come back down and do the same thing (including tail amputation) to the same guy in a P40 and then a P400. Poor sap didn't even throw out curses in chat, but I was giggling like a mad man and drew that attention of my roommate such was my laughter

Guys, guys, give default 50cal belts another try. I unlocked the 2nd p51 today (thanks gaijin) and this shit feels like 1.39 pre nerf ground belts. It rips everything apart and sets everything on fire. Played 3 games and got 3-2-4 kills in a stock p51 because of these belts. A short burst is enough to kill anything.

It overheats on any map where it has to take off from a carrier, pretty much (AKA all but two maps). Dont hold your breath for a fix because Japan doesn't get much love from gaijin with regard to fixes.

Kugelblitz is amazing. It completely annihilates planes. And even with the stock belt I've managed to get a couple tank kills, including a panther.

The last Ki-61 is pointless because of its BR. It suffers from the usual Gaijin thinking of cannons = super plane so they set the BR accordingly. You should be flying the Ki-84 instead if you want to fight in that bracket.

The Zeroes are great in high era 2/low era 3, the Ki-84 is pretty good, and the Shiden-kai is absolutely fantastic and arguably one of the best piston engine fighters in the entire game.
