Oh my fucking god, the North American Mustang P51-D30 is simply a beast in RB. Pretty good at retaining energy in a dive, climbs pretty decently, and turns really well at high speeds. All these combine also makes it a pretty good firing platform. I can't believe I never seriously tried the mustang before, thought its pretty bad, but turns out its surprisingly good. Instantly shot up on the service charts as my 3rd most air targets killed in Realistic battles.
Also, found out that against Japanese zeros, it simply wipes the floor.
why people think pulling a head on with my A20 is a good idea I have no idea
edit: I mean seriously, most bombers are pretty durable but they have some pretty apparent blind spots. Try and head-on me and you'll get shredded since most of essential components are not right in the nose. Approach from aforementioned blind spot and massacre my engines and watch me either explode or go down in flames.
seems most people in arcade just do not grasp this in the slightest, both bomber pilots who forget to exploit these "strengths" and fighter pilots who fail to exploit the weaknesses

Spent all evening playing new guinea in my ki61 hei and won every single match except for 2. Clubbed so many, b25s, beaufighters, f6fs and p38s. Got at least 2 kills every match (6 kills in one match). Grinded ~40k RP which is fuckin a lot for a silver account with a tier 3 non-premium plane.

Goddamn, just had a fantastic 109 F4 realistic match on Ruhr. My entire team were in either F4s, G2s, or 190 As and they all worked together so well I was doubting they were all randoms. We all took off and huddled together up to around 4 km, then spread out to around 2 km apart, where we all just ganged up on the fighters and bombers below us. A lot of teamwork and baiting was planned out IN CHAT, and we won within 10 minutes with only 1 lost pilot. Only 2 of the 6 or 7 players were in a squad, and I've just never seen anything like this. If I don't post this now, I'll think it was a dream later. Just... wow. I got 1 kill and 2 assists and I'm just realizing I don't have a screen of the results, but oh well.

Oh boy, generalizations! Here's a list of every War Thunder tank a short-barrel 75mm Sherman can handle frontally.
Everything in Era I (both nations.)
Every Soviet medium until the T-44 (difficulty with 34-85 turrets though.)
Every German medium until the Panther (difficulty with late IV series 80mm plates.)
Every Soviet tank destroyer until the SU-152 / SU-85M
Ever German tank destroyer until the Jagdpanzer IV L/70 (honorable mention to Jagdpanzer 38t)
And, all things considered, it can still pen the sides of every tank in the game up until the:
Tiger II series (including Jagdtiger; and high difficulty with Tigers except for the armor behind treads.)
KV-1 and onwards.
It won't be a useless tank in-game unless they go BR crazy like they did with the premium one.
Got the Pz.II H, it's fucking amazing. Insane mobility and insane gun for its BR, and it looks great.
