I wish they would remake the decals and have them start at a larger resolution then be down-scaled instead of originally being small then looking like garbage when you enlarge them. [editline]25th October 2014[/editline] Vectors could be nice too.
The captured kv-1 plays like ass, what is the point of this thing?
The hell are you on? It's fucking amazing.
The captured kv-1 plays like ass, what is the point of this thing?
You could not be any more wrong. The captured KV-1 is insanely good. Sure, it lacks speed and traversity. But the gun and armor more than makes up for it. Hang a bit back and snipe. Get in close, angle yourself and eat shells all day everyday. It does both really well.
German KV-1 has a cast turret with like 110mm armor all around. It's literally the best KV in the game. Better than the KV-1E with it's F-34 too.
And they say that Russian tanks are UP? T-28 with Shrapnel shells (and APHE for PZ.II front) is fucking amazing seal clubber: Got some juicy clips from the battle when I was having "Bad network connection" and shooting the shit out of these noobs. Can't upload now since I'm out of town (hence the net problems).
Is it still possible to disable the gun smoke in ground forces? It's a little annoying having my fps tank whenever I shoot.
oscar i just spotted you in a game but you were gone before i could say hey, some b17 got you
That game pissed me off so bad, one stray turret round put me on fire.
I've had enough of ground forces, I find it's just become infuriating to play. I just can't get any tank kills on it (and that's on arcade) but I received near constant one hit KOs. Yes I have mild butthurt and need to getgud, but since it came out of beta I have not been able to enjoy it at all.
Yes I have mild butthurt and need to getgud, but since it came out of beta I have not been able to enjoy it at all.
Nah, it's probably because tanks is terrible right now. I'd enjoy it more if RB wasn't a game of railguns (boy look at all dem Panzer IIIs and T-34-57s), if the gap where the Panthers kick in wasn't abysmal, and if the rewards weren't total garbage. If a game where I shit on two small bases and die in the Lancaster Mk I nets me more RP than 18 player kills and 4 more AI tank kills, plus a couple base captures, on a double - something is fucking wrong. :v:
I actually thought that the RB tank battles would be like a normal plane rb but the tanks do the Capping etc. and they would spawn near the objectives
I haven't played this in a while, how's the grind now?
I get that you have a finite number of spawn points in Realistic ground battles. I understand that each tank or plane you take out costs a certain amount of those. It's perfectly sensible that certain vehicles like planes aren't accessible with the amount of spawn points you start out with, and that you have to earn them in battle before you can use those vehicles. I completely agree with locking out a tank or plane after you've used it and lost it in combat. That makes sense to me. What doesn't make sense to me whatsoever is that, after you've lost a tank and had been presented with the screen to chose another one, why the prices of your remaining vehicles go up. That's completely backwards and counter-intuitive. If I'm given 450 spawn points at the beginning of a match, and I'm shown the cost of all my vehicles, and I recognize that I have enough points to take at least 2 tanks into battle at their current prices even if I don't accomplish anything, it's very jarring to lose my first tank, get back to the vehicle selection screen, and see that "Oh no! You can't field another tank! I've raised all the prices on you for no apparent reason!" It would be like going to a diner, ordering something off the menu, and then if you ask your waitress for the menu again after you'd finished what you'd ordered and decided on desert, all the prices suddenly gone through the roof because you didn't order it when you ordered your first plate. I just got out of a game in which I spawned in my newly-acquired Pz. IV Ostwind. After accidentally running downhill and into a tree and apparently knocking cold my driver and machine gunner, I was greeted by an 88mm explosive shell to the ammo rack by a friendly Tiger who thought I had decided to camp behind a tree and felt that "deserters should be shot". I left the tank and had decided on what tank I'd field next when I saw that I didn't have the 410 spawn points required to field it, even though it cost a mere 190 before I spawned in my Ostwind. That kind of nonsense has my mind in a bit of a knot right now. I'm not mad or upset; I'm just confused, perplexed on a deep abstract level that has me questioning the very reasons I sit behind a computer screen and press buttons to make little pictures of metal blocks move around and make each other explode. I'm gonna go outside for a bit, I think.
I have 6700 GE, what to do with them?
[t]http://i.cubeupload.com/mcwRew.jpg[/t] Players like this need to be castrated and banned. He climbed to 10,000m altitude and sat in a P-47D. The match is still going on. Now he's diving on the few people who bothered to climb up to him. So we have to wait on tickets. Still. They really need a system in place where if you're the last player, you're either auto-spotted and/or given a count-down of how long you have left to operate before you auto-bail. I'm sick of this shit, it really sucks all the life out of RB. Not bothering to remove his name because this cunt should be shamed and I'm gonna teamkill next chance I get for wasting almost an extra 30 minutes of my time. :v: [sp]We still won and I got another four unlocks for the A-4, but still. Fuck everything about that guy.[/sp]
Maybe a system where the difference in altitude between the highest player on one team and the last player on the other team (or last players if they're at similar altitudes) is evaluated and any players too high gets a countdown and are automatically lowered to a more appropriate engagement altitude in a similar way to what happens when you reach map borders.
Players like this need to be castrated and banned. He climbed to 10,000m altitude and sat in a P-47D.
this sounds ironic referring to my post on page 166

Maybe less. (Or keep it going until they all ram the ground.)
I had a game where I was th last man standng of my team, dodging F7F-1's in my Ko. I didnt get any kills/assists either
I really want to love the J7W, but I can't. It looks beautiful, but it's got a negative-income repair. Even on some wins. Even on three kill losses. It has quad 30mms, but the stock belts rarely register kills and there are still only 60RPG. It dives like a bat out of hell, but paper airplanes have better energy retention. It seems like it would be really agile, but turning often cuts off half, or more, of your speed. I want to love it, but I can't. The Kitsuka is looking more appealing, and I definitely enjoyed the N1K more. [editline]25th October 2014[/editline] OH GOD, IT IS BEGINNING: us_m46_patton us_m47_patton_ii us_m4a1_1942_sherman us_m4a1_76w_sherman us_m4a3e8_76w_sherman us_m6a1
us_m6a1
ITS HAPPENING
ITS HAPPENING
Here's hoping it has a proper functioning coaxial 37mm like it should. It could be better than the T35 if it had both the 3-inch and the 37mm AT guns, as well as that 80-some mm of frontal armor. then again I would't be surprised if the M6 doesn't get added because it never saw combat and only a handful were made in various configurations. Not sure what they'd use for an early-tier heavier tank to rival the T28/T35/KV-1, though.
I can't 100% confirm those because my CDK is dicks right now, so take it with a grain of salt.

It seems like it would be really agile, but turning often cuts off half, or more, of your speed.
The energy retention is really good? Also, all canards are going to be, by virtue of being canards, much worse at turning than their front-winged cousins, even if they are lighter/have bigger wings (up to a point, of course). It's just aerodynamics.
OMGOMGOMGOGMGOMG Am I apart of the hype train now? Why can't I be on the hype train :(
What Japanese belts do you guys use?
5 player air kills in one match. 3 times in a row. 3 defeats. Can't carry any harder captain!
5 player air kills in one match. 3 times in a row. 3 defeats. Can't carry any harder captain!
I've been getting 1- 3 every match in my premium zero but my win rate is 30% because of spacecats.
[T]https://hostr.co/file/2vmwF36PSwC9/Capture.PNG[/T] [editline]26th October 2014[/editline] some rounds just start out great
The energy retention is really good?
If I look at it even slightly cross, it shaves off hundreds of kph. It's great and all for diving on someone, but once I need to pull out of that or turn, I'm a dead duck in the water.
