While we're on the subject of horrible, horrible ideas from horrible, horrible people, can April Fools' 2015 be entire matches where everyone can only fly this? [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/90/Colour_avrocar_59.jpg/1280px-Colour_avrocar_59.jpg[/t] First flew in 1959, so it's not far off the cutoff date :v:.
Oh wow. Thats a first. Flying in my MiG on korea. F8F makes my tail slight pink. Plane instantly pulls 90 degrees upwards, all control surfaces froze up. Forcing me into a stall and get shot to shit by a F80C. What is this sorcery.
When they finally enable tank machine guns, American tanks are gonna be hilarious. That little M2 has like what, 4-5 .30 cals it can fire frontally at the same time.
What is this sorcery.
In War Thunder, damaged elevators (or even missing ones????) force the FM to think it's in maximum deflection sometimes and it's silly as shit. It's kinda [del]sad[/del] hilarious to watch a Wellington or Lancaster get affected by it and forced to do vertical loops until they die. Or hitting most Americans fighters with them and watching them immediately get an aeroboner for facefucking the ground.

Looked silly. Just really annoying, since I for once had a decent match in it.
What ammo belt should I be using with the N1K2-ja? Tracer (HEFT) just seems to get lots of hits but almost never shreds wings. Ground (APIx4/HEF/HEFT) gets lots of hits, sometimes shreds wings, but still not much. The only belt that seems to do it semi-reliably is the default belt (T/FI/FI/API), but I feel like that shouldn't be the case. Also, what do I do when the entire enemy team is jets?
So what is the timeline limit for War Thunder? Just wondering now that M103 is "semi-confirmed" to be in the game. Can I has my Leopard Prototype :3? If I ask nicely? At least the earliest Prototype A/B with 90mm gun? I mean I'm pretty sure that Type 61 will be in JP tree when they get one.

There are also "technology limits". I'm not sure what they are for tanks, but for aircraft it's no afterburners, no super-sonic, and no missiles.
*Insert some funny freedum joke* [t]http://devblog.warthunder.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/%D0%A1%D0%BA%D1%80%D0%B8%D0%BD%D1%8B_000080com.jpeg[/t] [t]http://devblog.warthunder.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/%D0%A1%D0%BA%D1%80%D0%B8%D0%BD%D1%8B_000082com.jpeg[/t]

which we be available in the game with Update 1.45
The next fucking patch?
Arent afterburners a thing in the form of WEP for jets?
No, not quite. The jets with "WEP" we have right now are either using water injection or it's just operating beyond normal limits. Afterburners are a specific thing involving injecting more fuel into the jet's turbine.
Afterburners are a specific thing involving injecting more fuel into the jet's turbine.
Fairly sure the whole point of afterburning is that it's being injected after the turbine.
Fairly sure the whole point of afterburning is that it's being injected after the turbine.
After actually googling it you're right. I remember some diagram ages ago showing a nozzle spraying down the turbine for some reason. Oops.
[sp]February at the earliest[/sp]
They actually said New Years at the latest. [sp]So yeah, somewhere in February to April probably.[/sp]
They need to have more x4 events, or x4 rewards. For us plebeians with no premium.
Does anyone have any idea how much fuel mig15s and cl13s get? I just did an endurance battle with some jets, only to fly back to my airfield empty in fuel in my sabre to have a mig and cl13a jump me as I was landing with 30 seconds of fuel left [editline]29th October 2014[/editline] and this is the same match where I cut my engine while doing high speed dives, etc to conserve fuel
http://warthunder.com/en/news/2591-event-breakthrough-in-poland-en
Played few rounds of this. last one I died in my T-34-57 and hopped in the gift Pe-2, dropped a few 500kgs on the german's heads. Shot down a 109G-2 with my back gun, took a flak hit and burst into flames, survived it, and belly landed on the airfield. got back up and cleared out the last german tanks. ZIS STALINA!
Gonna nitpick and remind you that it's not a jet; it's a rocket-powered airplane. Doesn't Japan now have the Kitsuka and (bs) R2Y2 jet fighters, or am I massively misinterpreting your post?
Technically a jet engine just uses expanding gases to produce thrust. A rocket engine just uses its own (liquid) oxidizer instead of sucking in air from the front like a turbofan Honestly I haven't played air in a while (and even when I did, rarely flew Japan) so I didn't know about the new jets they have now
Before I even got halfway to Poland, ala Panzer IV, in the new event, it was infested by four T-34-57s. Yep, not bothering to play Germany on that event again. At least I got the Narwhal finally. [editline]29th October 2014[/editline] First round, I can't hit a Ki-200 forcing head ons because some knuckle-dragger decided that the stock belt should consist of three rounds with different velocities and then got pounced by two vampires and meteors at the same time because our MiGs were climbing into low orbit behind the runway. I love Korea. [sp]Other jet maps fucking when.[/sp]
Yeah Korea is great, fuck that military exercise map.
I must've played a different WOT than you did. American 120s were the least of my concerns while facing hordes of Russian-bias wagons and waffentragers.
This happened 2 or 3 years ago so you probably don't remember it too well; but the T110E5 and the IS-8 were the first true-and-through bullshit railgun tanks in WoT. They pretty much nullified armor in clan battles with gold ammo, and turned tanks like the Maus from being shell sponges, into XP twinkies. Rail guns will be the downfall of any tank game.
R2Y2s acceleration is so fuckin bad. Yeah, sure, the top speed is like 780kmh but you literally have to fly for 2mins to get to those speeds.
This happened 2 or 3 years ago so you probably don't remember it too well; but the T110E5 and the IS-8 were the first true-and-through bullshit railgun tanks in WoT. It was only used for its hp amount.
Kitsuka is a sad fuckin joke. It'd at least be playable if gaijin wasn't totally fuckin retarded and made the 2nd gun unlockable.
Thought the Maus was never used for its armor because gold ammo was already being tossed around by hordes of IS-7s. It was only used for its hp amount.
Your average IS-7 mongoloid would have trouble penning a decent player Maus frontally, even with gold.
Could we not talk about (paying for lol) special ammo and WOT please? Let's talk about planes and shit instead!
