I just realized I never stopped to ask myself: Does researching progress faster in Arcade mode? I only ever play RB and I haven't gotten past tier 2 with any nation after 66 hours. 15 of those may have been spent on downloading patches though.

Basically it would be the same sort of damage a truck might receive when shot with a lighter round.
Panthers were already considered rather unreliable. I imagine throwing a 14.5mm into it wouldn't do anything dramatic, sans killing/injuring crew, but I'm sure the engine didn't appreciate it. If you want to turbosperg and hash out rounds, AB is your better bet. RB, on the other hand, will always be better for doubles and can easily net 5-20k RP points towards a vehicle on said doubles.

That said, you can make up the difference if you fly out in two fighters and a bomber, and get 10 kills and some ground targets destroyed. [I]Good[/I] Arcade rounds pay out very well, but doing well in Arcade is extremely different than doing well in RB.

Tier 4, forget about grinding planes in Arcade, at most you can grind upgrades.

Not sure about Research Points - I haven't played the game in a long while, so I can't really compare the progress. I think I made about 10k points' worth of progress in plane research in 3 or 4 hours of Arcade today. Not sure though. Anyway, thanks for the input everyone!
So how in the fucking hell is Panther equal to IS-2? Also do I just suck at shooting or why do I get the feeling that the Panther's gun is really frustrating?

Oh and it was also designed later and weights more. How's it equal indeed, Panther should be at higher rank!

You can't have crew getting slammed by HE outside the tank and just have text coming up saying "Crewman Unconscious".

They could do the same for this case, although I think a more likely reason for not having it would be that it'd take 20 years for them to complete the animations.

I can watch the replay of a 152mm APHE shell pass through poor Hans on my Flak Truck, and he just vanishes from existence with the words "Gunner is Unconscious" as the gun starts to operate itself. :v:

The M3 Lee is one tank to really showcase the difference between this and another certain game, since it's ability to independently move the 37mm might actually prove useful if given a decent BR.
