After my earlier post, I decided to try using the controller and screwing around with various joystick axes/deadzone/multipliers/etc. I couldn't find a setup that didn't result a slight "jump" whenever I would push them in a direction. The first few millimeters of joystick movement don't register, then when it finally does it starts at .2 instead of .1. This can be solved by increasing the deadzone, but I don't like the feeling of having to move the joystick before getting a response out of it's movement. Oh well. I'm looking forward to the persistent battles though. Have any more details been released about them? Are they supposed to be mixed battles of both planes and tanks? Or any of the mechanics of the game mode?

Or any of the mechanics of the game mode?[/QUOTE] Adjust your linearity if you can. This makes your joystick inputs look like a J Graph, basically. You'll get super fine inputs, but they multiply the further you push your stick until at 100% input, your controls react as if your stick is at 100%. But at say 10% of your stick's movement, they'll act like it's 1%. Depending on the linearity setting. It's easier to explain with racing wheels. Depending on the linearity setting, turning the wheel 20 degrees will turn your in-game wheel 20 degrees, or depending on if you raise/lower your setting, 5 degrees or 40 degrees. Obviously 5 degrees is a higher setting and allows finer inputs. But the further you turn your actual wheel, the less fine it gets until you're at max input, so you'll still be able to get your full range of motion

I tried using it in IL2 1946 forever ago, but it was almost impossible to line up shots without yaw being on an axis instead of buttons. Having yaw on binary inputs results in it jumping left/right instead of having a nice/smooth slight turn. I never was able to find a way to get around it, so I haven't bothered trying it in WT yet. Tried playing with an old Saitek ST290 pro. Would probably be a lot easier if I actually had somewhere sensible to put the dumb thing (my current setup basically has me with my keyboard in my lap with a desk to my right for my mouse, due to me using a 32" TV for a display and there wasn't room enough on my desk), as it is it was a joke. Thing is stiffer than a pedophile at recess and a pain to use as a result.

When I searched the problem up, people said that you need atleast 1 shell of the default AP ammo to fire the .50cal. It works for me now.

I need someone who uploads shit to youtube all the time to give me their Vegas rendering settings. Mine are always shit. They come out too dark so I add MediaFX to increase the gamma. I also do 10,000,000bps with 8,000,000 minimum. 720P since I have DXTory record in 720 from 1080. And I just get ugly artifacts. If the image sits still then it just goes to [b]SHIT[/b] until it starts moving again. Source video straight from Dxtory looks great, though

I may be late, but are US tanks still in a closed beta? I'm not able to progress passed the first tier unless if I buy a bundle or something.

Bundle's certainly worth it though for 3 dollars, digging the M3A1 USMC.

The reload speed sucks, and everything defeats its armor. Had one shell hit my upper glacis and bounce, but the fragments from it blew upward into the mantlet and somehow destroyed my tank, Okay. All that can be forgiven before the 75mm for the German tanks were made useless Just managed to get lucky hits But it is one sexy fucking looking tank, though
