Are you sure you dont have a mig-9 your line up or something? That will only bump up your BR and put you into the same bracket as IS-1s and KV-85s, which shouldn't be happening anyways.

I have an LA-9 and a Yak-3p in my line up.
i was in the middle of a fire fight with another tank, and he runs behind a building where i can hear shooting, so i turn the corner and fire. I then instantly kill one of my allies who was getting shot by the tank who rounded the corner, he then proceeds to kill me.
just my luck
Some ass shot me in the turret making it unusable from around a corner, the went back behind the corner to hide. I said "fuck it" and followed him, then proceeded to shoot him as I was at the right angle, then rammed and flipped him just right so he was on top of me, showing me his underside. I could then repair and when that was over, I backed up and shot him to death
I could feel the rage coming out of the screen when he died. Shit was priceless

Covalent, you being publicly wrong and misleading decreases the already questionable quality of this thread and this community with every post you make. It turns people off from playing the game, and distracts from actual problems with the game as it is.

Okay, so then. Why does have planes in the same line-up matter in SB? I took them out and I still just got matched with KV-85's and IS-1's in a T-34 1942..

Ok. Take everything out except the KV-1.
Since you used to be able to take planes with you into SB, I am pretty sure they had the queue rank averaging in place, and since then they only disabled contribution of planes but they still probably count, I would have to test it but I wouldn't be surprised if that's how it is.
If you keep getting matched with IS-1s in T-34 1942 then I have no clue.
Could also be because no one really plays sim tank battles at that level? The game just dumps outliers and whatnot into one big match when the player population is low.

I put everything to reserve tanks, even the KV-1 ZiS I had, took out the 1942. Still was matched with IS-1's. I really don't know. I mean it doesn't seem as often, but..

I prefer playing Sim Tank battles, though. I like just the tank aspect. Realistic Battles just doesn't have the same gumption as SB does. It's fairly popular if you select nearly every server, it takes about 2 minutes to find a match.
Two minutes compared to RBs thirty some odd seconds?

1953 only applies for planes (unless your plane is the B-57, the CL-13, or the Venom)
I thought they said 1953 for tanks, too. I remember being sad that the Leopard 1 wouldn't make it but at least the Centurion Mark 7 would since it was produced in 1953. Oh well I'm not complaining. Leopard 1 is pure sex
