I dunno, just seems like a waste. There are better things the devs could be working on. At least when they did reskins this blatent in the past, it was for different nations - and sometimes they'd mix it up by giving it absurd rewards, but a higher BR bracket.

I'd rather be able to start ramming the enemy if my loader/gunner are dead instead of just immediately being forced to respawn.

we have to remember WT is still something of a simulator game even in arcade mode. if your tank crew consists of a gunner, commander, and driver, and 2 die, what the fuck gives you the idea that the one remaining guy would want to keep fighting? you're not being forced to respawn, your "tank" as an entity is neutralized. that's it.
i might support a plane-like destruction system where your lsat few remaining crewmembers are allowed to stick around for 15 seconds or so, but otherwise no, this is fine.

Most of the time it turns into an erotic grind fest or a casual little "bamp" for me. Even when I slam someone going 50kph down hill.

Tier 4 German players are the worst, I don't know if I want try grinding for a tier 5 German tank at this point if I'm going to be stuck with these retards.
i reached within 1000rp of the panther and suddenly i went from getting 8 kills per match to 0.000
did they buff 7.7's in the latest patch or something? I swear I've been getting insane results out of mine lately, not even with anything especially crazy, just tracer rounds
and yet shit has been happening like me sawing off the wing of a damn corsair, or knocking out yak pilots, or making a P39 explode that one time
So a T50 just spawncamped spawn #2 on Karelia. Nobody could beat him because everyone who spawned there just got one shot and you couldn't get to the objectives from spawn #1 because it's a murder alley.
I tried leading a push to C which couldn't be captured because it's wide open in front of their spawn.
I've seen some bad maps in my time but [I]goddamn [/I]we are about to breach Malinovka levels of bad. I think respawning is awesome in War Thunder Arcade Battles but all it does is extend the hell.
OK, this game needs to [B]stop [/B]blatantly refusing to give me assists.
Either the SU-122 is a really bad tank (gonna go with this as I've never seen a single one do remotely decent) or I'm not using it right (a possibility, though unlikely; I've tried it in every possible configuration) because even with the same matchmaking I do better in my Flakpanzer 1 by flanking F2's and T-34's and shooting at the back of their turrets. Russian tank destroyers feel like decent guns on terrible chassis. Stugs are more well rounded.
the stug is what people use when they fuck up and lose both of their PzIV F2s.
Just got the SU152; domed two jagerpanzer kiddos in one shot.
I could get used to this.
My entire crew is alive and my gun barrel takes a full minute to repair.
Fuck this awful game sometimes.

It's just boring and repetitive. Also, i feel like the gameplay doesn't change much as you progress. With the planes you actually feel like you're accomplishing something and each era is different enough to make it interesting.

That's exactly how I felt about planes (excepting a large gameplay change when you get to the jets).

Oh well, I suppose not everyone likes to play through the infinite amount of possibilities of energy and angles that can crop up in a 3 dimensional battlefield.

I blame it mostly on the arena style maps, most of the combat takes place at the same range so you're often just aiming for the obvious weakpoints and trying to get the shot off before they do. It doesn't help that these maps are also split up into chokepoints, forcing the fights to take place in the same spots nearly every match.
More maps like Kursk (large maps that allow for the player to go any direction) would be great, armor and maneuverability would count for a lot more.

considering the majority of battle consist of "climb to win" that doesnt really become a thing very often
