I find it terrible.
but the real seal-clubbing machine is the KV-1.
Sit on a hill, take fire from 37, 45, and 50mms (even some 57 and 76, and 75) and return fire with your main gun and watch the kills come in. It's literally M1 if you know your weak points.
I have more trouble with M4s than KV-1s, to be honest. KV-1s are rather slow and unwieldy so most tanks can circle an average shitpub in a KV-1, and once they expose a flat side it's only 75mm of flat armor and they go down in one or two strikes to the hull and turret.
M4s on the other hand have weird contours that make penetrating a guessing game, are more agile and you have to get through the 64mm of sloped front as well as the turret to reliably kill the things. Also, there are a lot of them.
I never really had any trouble with the M4s. I hit one M4 just under the turret frontal and it blew up instantly so i decided to try that again and it worked.

Gotta say, I enjoy the drifting mechanic in this. Managed to do a full speed drift to get to the rear of a KV-1 while I was in my IIIE and then I pumped a bunch of apcr into his rear, killing him before he could do anything about it.
Also, gotta love the North Korea flag decals. Got those on all of my tanks right now.

I parked up here and managed to get 9 kills without taking a single bit of real damage. The b17 fuselage is just tall enough to go hull down with the sherman's mantlet as well.

is there any way to download the patch/entire game w/o using the launcher? It's all kinds of fucked up, it manages to make me time out all the time, destroys my network while only dling at like 15 kb/s, nothing on my pc does that

Open up the launcher, and I think in the lower left there's some text that says something like "download as torrent" just click that.

Ok, I found what I was talking about. Go to the options menu (wrench) and at the bottom right of the window you'll see the torrent button.

Problem is that killing pretty much accomplishes nothing in this. You get one guy squatting on the flag for 3 minutes and it's pretty much GG at that point.

Apparently you can download the entire game, updated patch and all, directly through steam. As my friend was so kind to constantly point out her 18MB/s transfer rate while I downloaded the patch at 140Kb/s

I was up against 2 T-34's which I couldn't penetrate even the driver hatch at the time, but they were struggling to kill me, only doing damage to components but not getting a kill shot. I held J and wrecked myself and they thought one another stole their kill and started fucking each other up

That's how torrenting generally works. You get, but only if you give. Cap it at 15Kb/s. That's pretty much the sweet spot (For me with my shitty upload rate) for allowing fast enough download speeds while not murdering my entire connection in the process, but uncap it and it'll download much faster. But having no upload really makes your internet useless for anything else
This is utterly ridiculous. I obviously need assistance cause whatever I'm doing it's not working in this game. I'm hitting the marks that are green, I'm going for all the basic tank weak-points I know of and yet I can't seem to take anything down. This is all while I get two-shot from the FRONT by an enemy tank. They do it effortlessly and I'm sitting here being a useless piece of fuckery against them. I have yet to get a tank kill besides AI. I'm completely at a loss.

I can even set the up limit to 100 - it completely disables my connection, 0 dl 0 up speeds

Learn crew positions, shoot them. Rinse and repeat.
