By all means, I've seen air and tank bots be more productive than 90% of the player base - in all modes.

It's much, much harder to carry.[/QUOTE] You and I are on two different brainwaves then. Arcade is pathetically easy to carry if I bother trying and I'm not focusing on grinding fighters. The only one that's a struggle is Domination maps. I have a 65% Win Rate in it, or so, and I almost exclusively play solo. Past month has been 70-75%. Most of the time it's passive enough that I can watch Netflix while I play. The only point at which I stop playing is around 6.0, or when jets start to be a thing - they make bombers near useless, which in turn drags the matches wayyy the fuck out. Realistic, sure, I might kill one or two planes if something bad doesn't happen - but now I'm fucked if I: am low on energy, low on ammo, or took any real damage. I -have- to rely on my team to get through realistic most of the time. The matches where I kill 9+ people are once in a blue moon compared to the 9/10 matches I'm top player without much effort in Arcade. I think I'm hovering around a 51% in that. It's far too easy to have a few tardmonglers crash on take off or overspeed and throw off your whole game by turning a 6 v 6 into a 6 v 3.
I have to agree that Arcade is easier to carry simply because ammo and fuel and altitude aren't an issue. In Historical, even if you are the acemost ace acer, every kill will bring you closer to dry ammo count and every turn you take with somebody will make you an easier target for the next guy. Mainly on some planes that's more prevalent. In arcade you just keep on shelling bitches and fall back for just a minute to reload. In Historical, having to reload puts you at mercy of vulchers and AAA RNJesus.

In Arcade, it's safe to spam my Mk 108 or 37mm gun at anything I see like a typical shitter - I can peel off and reload if I'm safe about in. In Realistic, low ammo counts mean you have to be exceedingly cautious and a few bad RNG rolls can leave you dry with nothing to your name. Combine that with in-the-air starts and suddenly plane performance means a lot less. Many battles are dragged down, and only bombers are at the mercy of those who climb well. It also means planes that handle well at low altitude and speed tend to tear up those that don't. It's why the P-51 is exceedingly good, played in the right hands, in RB - but is a complete tosser in AB.

That said, you'll break his gun, tracks, cannon breach, cup holder, and favorite stuffed bear - leaving him with a 6+ minute repair time. It's like getting a kill without actually getting a kill.

Been playing it for last 2 weeks, this weekend I went on arcade to get the achievements faster and I reliably scored on top 5 players almost every match. US planes master-race. Any idea when other nations will get their tanks?

Fighters are good for domination and nothing more. Fighter-bombers, attackers, and bombers can pull whole teams as long as the enemy is distracted enough. Middle of the road is hardest, ironically. Low tier people are mongs and high tier spend too much time dog fighting and chasing bombers at 6000m. There's a reason I was able to win roughly 21 out of 22 of my Wirraway's battles in Arcade. :v:

Nothing's more fun than having some fucker play park and poke in tank, calling artillery to get him to move, and then popping him when he does. The irony is, a dumb player won't move and the artillery usually won't even kill him - so it doesn't work on them. :v:

Fighters are, outside domination, senseless masturbation in Arcade the same way heavy bombers (usually) are in Realistic. The dev server has also updated a few times the past couple days. 800mb, 200mb, and 80mb. The first two I think were mostly map reworks, and the third was some renderer/dll changes. I want to know when the next update is already, they've been quiet about it.

I always bail out if my death is assured, so that I am not stolen. Unless it's like a CL-13 or a P-63 in which case you don't deserve my bounty.

Actually AI should target them with 100% accuracy and a 200% damage buff for the remainer of the round. Fuck those people.
I think no kill or assist should be awarded until the target plane hits the ground or pilot is killed. Even if the targeted plane was rocketed numerously, set on fire, and with with 5 different 75mm cannons. If the plane manages to crashland on a runway with an intact fuselage, it gets repaired and the attackers get assists but no kills. Assists need to be more than useless chumpchange, so kills arent the only thing that matter.

I'm part of the problem, of people who relentlessly stick to their kill and am not above being a vulture when I'm in a shitty stock plane that needs ground out. I'm pretty certain if Assists were worth more than their current 1/10th (or less) of a kill, people wouldn't be so violent about trying to get kills all the time.

doomtruck just smote an enemy t34-85 (D-whatever) when we 1v1'd over a cap point. ammo racked that fucker frontally. I then shot down three planes and killed two ai tonks and was second highest scoring player of the match
